To Experience Creation
A primary purpose of life and individuality is for the Source to experience the infinite worlds of its creation. This reason resonates the most with me. We see what life is like here, and we want to experience it. It’s as simple as that.

Returning to the Source
Our purpose is to experience the infinities of creation as individuals and then return to the Source. That return can either be a temporary stop to recharge our energy or a “final” return after eons of experience, when we have grown to the point that we are almost indistinguishable from the Source. After that merging, we are one with the Source, reborn as new individuals through the eternal flow.
This cycle is the heart of consciousness — to go out and experience creation from within it, to return home, and then to go out again for more experiences.
That ultimate merging is the end of one ”Grand Cycle” and the beginning of the next.

The Source Draws Us Back to It
We are individual extensions of the Source. Through its flow of light (attention) into us, the Source is itself an energy bridge to every individual consciousness in existence. When your uplink broke, it also cut you off from your physical body. If you do not move back quickly, you may lose it. It is not yet the right time.

Rejoining a Column of Light
I’m drawn to what appears to be a column of pure white light. . . . The sheer power of its radiation is overpowering. I stop and try to adjust. The Growth of Consciousness

We Forget so That We Can Fully Engage
Ours is the story of how we forgot who we were so we could fully engage in this life, and eventually experience the magnificence of remembering ourselves again.
When we incarnate, we enter into the memory of a human life and gradually over the first seven years, we forget where we came from and who we are in order to fully embrace our life here. We are not just passively watching a movie, however. We are changing the story from within it. We are creating our own version of the story of this life. We are choosing who we want to be.
And then, upon physical death, we exit the memory, we return to the higher self that created us, and we remember who we are, who we have been, and why we chose to experience this life.

To Overcome the Body’s Fear
The primary goal of Earth life is overcoming fear. Our new physical self is introduced to pain and fear within the physical body as a means of keeping us alive. We grow up internalizing these bodily needs and fears. Our growth comes through the wider perspective of our survival after bodily death and understanding the pain that fear itself causes.
Souls are created in a positive matrix of such love and wisdom that when a soul starts to come to a planet like Earth and join the physical beings who have evolved from a primitive state, the violence is a shock. Humans have the raw, negative emotions of anger and hate as an outgrowth of their fear and pain connected with survival going back to the Stone Age. . . . If a soul only knew love and peace it would gain no insight and never truly appreciate the value of these positive feelings.
