July 23, 1996
Much pleasantness! I dreamed of South Hall, with lots of crazy fun, like we have before classes start. Friends and I were climbing on furniture, giving away stickers, being loud, creating art, and playing together. At first, Brad H was the only familiar person there. The action spanned the lobby, the RC’s room, my room, and the bathroom. While playing in the lobby, I saw Rebecca on the couch and was overjoyed! In waking life I turned, wrapped myself around her, and squeezed her. Back in the dream we continued to play. South Hall was rotated from it’s E-W position to a N-S position.
Later: Super fun fun MarioLand! I jump on a butterfly, fly to the sun, jump on clouds, and pay an amount of coins for access to earthquake land! Now I’m Yoshi. I eat giant fruit, lay an egg, and a huge plant grows out of it with the fruit on top. Pears and Potatoes. Hugeness and fun.
Dreams like that make me wonder why I dream such things. Much joy in the dreams of last night, anyways. :)

Rotation: This probably occurred in the near realm, wherein I experienced strange effects from spherical vision.
Cuddling in Bed: I felt so happy to see her in the dream that I shifted my attention to the waking side briefly to snuggle up against her, then refocused in the dream.
Returning to College: At the time of this dream, Rebecca and I were living in Berkeley, California. It was summer between years of college, and we were excited to return. We weren’t the only ones! Here we met up with others excited to return and hung out in South Hall where we had both lived.
