Dream Journal

I’m reading a black and white line-drawn comic about some animal gods coming out of hibernation to train someone. One goes to an old man named Taciter to complain that another isn’t doing their job.

I seemed to also be driving a black SUV back from the place where I had been dreaming, as if I was at a traffic light and reading the comic while waiting to continue. As I drive, I miss my left turn and do a u-turn to get back on track.

Earlier in the night, I was directing a word-by-word play of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with a bunch of friends. It was in the theater of a cruise ship, I believe. It was an amateur production, with little practice, but they were doing great. We had to break it up into several sections because the theater was reserved about an hour after us. In the dream, we got through the first and second performances, thinking it would likely be 5-7 in total.
