Dream Journal
December 3, 2024
I was sitting at a table with several other people in what seemed like an outdoor cafe. The table had breakfast food on it, and we were listening to someone talk about and show us something interesting in a tan/golden pool of water. The pool was likely within a rote and didn’t fit in the scene, really, so I mentally placed it to the side of the table.
A middle-aged Indian woman with short hair sat across from me at the table, casually levitating a biscuit while she listened. That caught my attention and, certain that this wasn’t a dream, I went up to her, more directly that usual, and I said, “Hello, my name is Benji Adams and I want to talk with you. I’m very interested in dreams and spiritual things.” She somewhat shyly said her name was “Indraheen” but then got up and left, disappearing around a dark corner behind her. I realized I had been too forward and scared her off. I woke up, remembering her name.
Indraheen: I looked the name up upon waking. Indra is the god of the sky, weather, rivers, and war. The suffix “heen” in Hindi means “without”. Together, it means “Indra-less”.
Merging Images: The person talking was sharing an image of the golden pool of water, and I got confused and tried to fit it spatially into the environment around me.
