I decided to visit the new house that we were moving to. Rebecca picked it out. I wasn’t paying much attention. When I arrived there was really loud music coming from the house next door. I looked in through the glass front wall (looked through the wall, actually) and saw 4-6 guys sitting around a table playing a game of some sort, with drinks and snacks. Hmm.. this loud noise might be a problem, I thought. The houses were quite close together. I entered the one we were moving into. The owner wasn’t home. It was quite cluttered with her stuff, a fully-defined living space that I was unfamiliar with. The house seemed a bit shabby compared to our current house. There were only a couple rooms on the first floor. I went upstairs (up too many stairs, it seemed). The main bedroom had a hexagon gazebo in it, and it was tiled within, like it was meant to be a shower. It was very cluttered up here as well, and the only bed was a sleeping bag and pillow on the floor amongst the piles of clothes and knick-knacks. I cleaned up things a little as I looked around.
I went back downstairs to the kitchen. Noticing brown stains on the window, I began to scrape them off. Right then, a woman entered the house — the owner! She came directly to me and I was momentarily surprised, then greeted her, saying I was one of the new owners. I then left through the front door, and noticed a little slapdash fire pit and seating area on the green slope leading down to the road. I crossed the road and directly across the street was a comic shop, which I took to be a bonus. As I approached, I saw someone leaving and the lights were out. It has just closed (it was around 5-6 AM, morning coming). I walked back to the neighbors’ house and thought maybe they were gamers who lived here due to the comic shop.
At some point around here I was disturbed in the waking world and it took a little time to get out of my waking thoughts and concerns to return to sleep.
I returned to the new house and continued exploring the area.
Looking Inside: I frequently look through walls and objects in the astral when I want to see what’s on the other side. There’s a layer of explanation rationalization going on when remembering and writing down dreams. What I remember is looking into the house. When writing down the dream, I think they must have had a glass wall — unless I catch myself.
Closing Up for Morning: It’s not just me that heads home as morning approaches. Often time astral businesses will close around this time.
