Dream Journal

I was in a place that was the world of Fallout. I remember seeing people in yellow and orange jumpsuits and thought they looked rad (haha), so wanted to remember to find a costume like that for Halloween or Dragon Con. There was already a different yellow and orange costume I had in mind but this one was better.
I remember looking at a scene — a dry ditch, and on the other side were trees in fall colors. Someone pointed out that there was an apple on one of the trees over there. I went to investigate — the adventurous way! Instead of taking a wooden bridge, I went down into the ditch. I saw a set of vines hanging down onto a ledge from the other side. I climbed up the ledge and was trying to find a way to use the vines to swing across but they weren’t hanging the right way. So I went up the other side and found the apple. I picked it and took a bite. Behind the first trees was a sort of gallery area, unkempt, outdoors, with display areas for apples and other things. My friend from earlier was with me. “You didn’t take a bite, did you? It’s all irradiated.” I had but wasn’t worried. I dropped the rest of the apple.
I think this ditch was the path the “train” later on had taken. More truthfully, it’s likely a passage between dream areas.
The next part I remember, I was on this big train car with lots of benches like stadium seats. I was on my back, with Joleen, naked, on top of me. I began to touch and feel her body. I reached down below. It was very wet, but my hand was not far down enough — in the belly area. Still, I enjoyed the touching a bit. There were people around but I didn’t mind. I then left to find Rebecca.
When I found her, she looked great. Young, goth, hot. She was in the back train car, which, unlike the stadium seats car, was normal size. It was her room. She was in the back half, in a raised bed-like area. She was happy to see me. I climbed up and we started kissing, on our way to sex. But my attention turned out the back window. There were a group of guys on the tracks, gathered around the parked train behind us. They could see us, and I thought it must be quite a view. I said not to worry, as our train was about to leave. It began to pull slowly away, but one of the guys floated forward and stuck onto the back window. Rebecca indicated the blind and I pulled it down in front of him.
The train moved slowly forward, very near some trees, and I wondered if the guy would get knocked off. But as I looked around, I noticed the train moving between tightly packed trees and roots, not even sticking to the track, and there wasn’t even a train now! Rebecca and I were slowly sliding forward, side by side, over these tree roots, between trees, and then into a very familiar place — a narrow stream of dark water with two tall walls of dark stone bricks on either side. I’ve been here many times before.
We climbed up the bricks to a ledge maybe 3 feet up and found ourselves in a cute little European-seeming stone village. I walked along with Rebecca, and I said “I’m fully aware and awake and I know this is a dream.” She didn’t respond to that. We walked around the corner of a building, her holding onto my arm. There we saw an odd stylized painting of her mother, Christina, on a bench. This indicated to me that she was dead. I had a larger blue sticker of what indicated her eye in my hand, and I put it over the smaller “eye” in her picture. I asked the people sitting nearby what happened, if she was okay. The man answered but I don’t recall what he said.
Getting an Eyefull: This is almost like a cartoon scene!
What Train?: The train didn’t seem like a rationalization originally. There were several cars. But as it started moving, I could see out through the roof and floor, and eventually it disappeared entirely, and it was just Rebecca and I moving slowly along.
Something Like That: My dream self had sort of the right idea, but the location was off.
