Many Minds Sharing One Dream★★★
Summer, 1994

Falling asleep, I held in mind the desire to dream about the oneness, to feel and experience it, and to awake 4 hours after falling asleep. It worked — I awoke suddenly on my own nearly four hours after falling asleep, just as I had wanted! I turned out my lights around 4 AM and couldn’t sleep for a while. It’s now 8:40 AM, I’m awake and feeling charged up and refreshed when usually I sleep until 1-2 PM! I felt as if I were many minds sharing the same dream. . . . Scientists, earlier and later in the night, studying what we felt, where we were. We were doing experiments, asking questions, yet I can’t recall the answers. The first moment I peeked my eyes open this morning I saw incredibly bright light, as if the natural light had been intensified. I felt charged up, and I flipped and flopped in bed as if I was experiencing some sort of orgasmic ripples. The actual dream I can’t remember. . . . Wow!

Further dreams: I move to San Fran and instantly get sucked into this gang war: whites vs. Spaniards. The initial disturbance was the Spaniards stealing some of my art at gunpoint. I find myself with an automatic submachine gun in these drive-bys, but decide then and there I want out. The others corner me and I tell them. Surprisingly, they’re glad to hear it. Both sides accept it and let me go.

Shared Dreams: Sometimes when dreaming or high I become keenly aware that there are a lot of “us.” I say “us” because they seem like kindred spirits, enjoying the same dream or experience, somehow connected to me or part of a greater personality.
