Dream Journal

I woke up physically and went to the mirror in the bathroom. For a split second when I looked at myself, I saw a dark red spot roughly between my eyebrows. A vestige of my dreaming awareness, seeing my third eye? It was lower than I imagined. I also saw a few thin black lines, as if made by trails of flying insects that had passed by.

It seemed that my vision was a liquid that flowed to cover over these images. . . . It may be covering up things we’ve come to believe as “not useful”, just as it covers over the blind spot in each eye.
