Dream Journal

As I was waking up, I saw a quick bit of imagery behind the scenes. It was a dark shape in a white field. The darkness was that full purple color, and the light around it was this full off-white light. Both were boiling with energy, alive with potential. It shifted left to right and back, with the arms seeming like a single unit, sliding through the center to the left then to the right. The rate was about 1 cps. The rhythm reminded me of the potential rocking of the ecstasy trance. It felt like some kind of engine behind the scenes. It looked kind of like a dancing bear.

A Momentary Glimpse:

The dark shape reminds me of the Mandelbrot Set. The “arms” slide through the narrowest point in the primary fractal. In the manner of dreams, the head and feet may have been painted on when the “dancing bear” thought came to me. The arms reminded me of Walt Disney’s earliest animation.

Could this be the mathematical foundation? Could this be a shifting back and forth of perspective on a fractal?
