Dream Journal

I was in the audience for this big play where the audience was supposed to sing along. We were going to, but the screen with the words turned off. So Rebecca started making it up and I joined in. During a pause we were asking people if it was okay what we were doing. They said it was. Before long I was in the play, playing a wandering pirate. I got some fish, dropped one, and began shouting and singing about it in this pirate-y Scottish accent. Then this other pirate and I dropped rubber snakes on the pirate captain and first mate below.
Later on, I was talking to someone in a room like my single in South Hall. He asked if he could film the next episode of his show in my room. I said yeah. There was some singing, and I was telling him about a dream I had earlier about the ocean.
Audience Participation: These amateur performances usually are open to audience participation. It’s a collective thing. If someone is moved to sing or join in, that’s usually just fine.
