Guided in Dreams★★★
August 12, 1996 @ 5:05 AM

Context: We're living in Berkeley at the time.

Straightforward, easy-to-understand dreams tonight. I’ve been following desires, floating around through downtown San Francisco. I really am traveling around. I love this! Everything is being shown and explained to me. The Source is more aware, more alive, all in the now. It is clear and focused. It is the whole hologram, across all of time. Any knowledge you want.

Motivations move us forward. Belief in a goal increases our motivation. Focusing on a destination creates movement towards it.

I really feel as if I have been guided tonight. I’m so peacefully detached and unemotionally involved — only excited and fascinated by learning, not survival. That’s a great success. To be successful there, on the other side, we need to be stronger than our physical fears.

This is just coming to me so easily. I just figured I’d remember and didn’t need to write it down, because it’s so clear there. I really must explore this fearlessness more! Thank you, guide, very much.

It expands outward

A little later: I’m keeping consciousness in sight from my dreaming. It follows thoughts. When you think, it swirls and turns and expands out, emitting more of itself.

Rebecca and I communicate so subtly when sleeping. I sensed fear in her and gave her rhythmic squeeze pulses to remind her it was a dream, to remind her of the physical.

That evening: My dreams are close by.

The Star Field: Motivations and desires pull us into scenes. The star field contains all the options. We expand a star, a scene, a rote that we’re drawn towards.

Calm Knowing and Guidance: I’m in the same connected flow state here in the dream state that I get in while high. Information is coming to me — in my dream self focus. My waking self is asleep. That’s why I feel peacefully detached. I’m not projecting drama all over my surroundings, and so I can observe, listen, and learn.

True dreaming occurs when the waking self with all its physically-based fears is kept quiet, sleeping. Once it awakens within the dream, it projects physical limitations, fears, and desires onto everything.

Comforting Her: My intention was to pull her out of the dream enough to realize she doesn’t need to be afraid.
