Fall, 1987
Context: I'm not interested in baseball or hockey.
I’m at hockey game. I go in for Steve Lombardozzi. I do an awesome pass, but can’t skate. Then I go out. The ref wants me in as goalie because the current one doesn’t have a certain pad. I have tons of trouble getting dressed. I skate out past the goal, then come back and wait there. After a minute or two, the ref puts a face mask on me.
A little bit later, the hockey game stops, and some paramedics come out and put me on a stretcher. They put two strange white boxes in the middle of the rink and put a little display next to me. I ask what’s happening. The coach says that it’s a celebration of some sort for me. Little white figures start moving around on the display. Then it kind of changes from a display to real life. I’m trapped in this big building with lots of windows. I’m throwing rocks at the city I’m overlooking and breaking glass things. I hit a big building frame, and it falls towards us and knocks us over.
References: Steve Lombardozzi was a player on the MN Twins baseball team when they won the World Series in 1987.
Changing Size and Perspective: I focus in on the moving figures in the display and that brings me down to their size. I don’t know why I’m trapped in a building at this point, but it’s likely the two white boxes become the city buildings I’m overlooking and throwing rocks at.
