In the near realm, Rebecca asked me to come with her to investigate this ghost she saw. I was curious and went along. We arrived at a run-down ruined city. The style of this was kind of like Adventure Time — colorful and post-apocalyptic. I remember imagining the ghost would be a small floating green orb for some reason. When we arrived, it felt like we arrived at level 1 and had to go to level 10 or something. So we started walking around. In this parking garage we saw some talking derelict cars. . . . There were some adventures along the way.
Eventually we got onto this parked bus that was mostly full of people. This was where the ghost was. Rebecca indicated the back. There was an open seat in the back row near a twitchy crazy lady. Apparently she summoned the ghost. I was excited to see it. I sat in the back seat. She was seated on a side-facing seat right in front of me. A few seconds after I sat down, she began to shake her hand, then extended her pinky and thumb and made a gun cocking noise “ch-ch” and then, looking at me, said “ooooh he’s awake”. She stopped summoning the ghost. So I closed my eyes. I waited a couple seconds and then opened them. She was looking right at me. I closed my eyes for a bit longer, and I heard the “ch-ch” and I opened them. She said “ooooooh he’s still awake” and stopped. Okay, I had to time this just right. I closed my eyes again, just concentrating on the dark, relaxing, waiting. I was going to give it a good long time this time. I turned my head to the right and laid it back on the seat, unconsciously matching the pressure from my pillow in waking life. 10 seconds, 20.. and then. AND THEN. I heard this “RAAR” in my ear. It sounded like someone speaking in a monster voice, like it was spoken directly into my physical ear, pressed against the pillow. This wakes me up.
I wasn’t scared, but I was surprised. It felt like someone had played a good a joke on me. I was impressed. The crazy lady and her pet ghost trick. Bravo, haha.

Invitation to a Dream: The request from Rebecca came when I was in a non-visual focus. It was dark but my mind was awake. It was the familiar near realm telepathy. After agreeing to her request, she led me to her dream.
Matching the Pillow: As I relax with my eyes closed in the dream, I come closer to the physical realm, because that’s where this state is familiar. I must become aware of the pressure of my pillow and lean my head against the seat in such a way as to “fulfill the sensation”.
A Good Trick: Here Rebecca leads me into a dream with her and brings me to this crazy lady, who essentially plays a trick on me with her pet ghost.
The Ghost Trick: This whole thing feels like a prank set-up. The lady in the astral seems to like to play tricks on people, and she gets me right in the mental state she wants before unleashing the cute ghost sound right in my ear.
