The White Snapdragon★★★
October 11, 2023 @ 6 AM

The first thing I remembered is that I went into the kitchen of a house (not ours), and found that the gas stoves, of which there were 10, several on vertical surfaces, were turned on full-blast to the level of jet engines and left on. It was getting hot, things were on the verge of melting and catching fire. It took some effort to turn them all off — the knobs were hot. I then found Rebecca and chastised her strongly for trying to burn the house down and she said it was because the kids were ignoring her.

At some point I felt what seemed like a booger in my nose. I grabbed it with my fingertips, and felt something long and huge come sliding out from all over inside my head. I was horrified to see that I had pulled out this long, ghost-white multi-armed tube-like thing that was bigger than my head. At first, it was a long stalk that split into a bunch of other stalks, which also split. After hiding it from Rebecca and the kids (who kept barging into the bathroom), I got a chance to take a closer look at it. The arms of it were tubes, as if it had grown into every.. nerve or vessel or opening within my head. As I continued to examine it, I saw that it looked like a snapdragon flower as big as my head. The face of it was grimacing, with what looked like large clenched teeth, and I reflected that that’s how I felt often, and this thing must have been the source of my decades-long head pain. As I touched it, I noticed how, just like a snapdragon, it flipped back and forth between an open form and a closed form, corresponding to two positions of over-flexed muscles in my head. I put one hand inside it like a puppet. This was a mistake — it came alive and bit my wrist, leaving a little spore of some kind lodged there. I hoped I had not reinfected myself with it, whatever it was.

The dream then turned into a plant-based zombie story. People were coming after me, people with plant-mutated bodies, trying to bite me. The people were overgrown with unfortunate additions to their bodies of all colors. I ran, hid, fought. At one point I encountered another white snapdragon, but this one didn’t have the appearance of grimacing like mine, further underscoring the problematic state of mine. At some point I began communicating with the plant-zombie people. Some were pleading with me to let them bite me. I saw how they would grow different layers of their brains or other beneficial things. I calmed down a bit in my fight against them, but I’m not sure if I let them bite me.

Etheric Body Pain: In this eerie scene, I pull something huge and elaborate from within my head out of my nose. My guess is this is my etheric body, the physical body’s energy structure.

As some background, I’d been suffering from TMJ disorder, teeth clenching, and head pain for many years. This energy structure reflected that in the way it looked and the way it snapped to over-flexed positions.

Off Into Fantasy: The fear of the spore infecting me turns an interesting and true examination of my etheric body into a fear-based fantasy story.
