Dream Journal

I spent a while playing this soccer-like game with the kids. We were in the woods on the other side of the driveway at Blaine House. It was fast-paced and the ball was smaller than a soccer ball. The trees and plants acted as barriers — like we were playing it across different rooms with openings between them.
The next part I remember is that Rebecca and I were on the porch off the master bedroom, looking out across the fields. I looked down and I saw that there was this 30’ x 40’ hole in the ground, and through it I could see lava bubbling — bright red and yellow (this could very well have been caused by a satori pool). Then I noticed that the house was tipping slightly towards it. I went in to the bedroom and the house tipped back to its original position. I went back out to the porch and the house tipped towards the fields & lava. At this point I began to panic. We needed to tell someone!
The next thing I remember is that we were in town. I sent out a general call, announcing what was happening. I think I just did it through my mind. Then I decided I should tell Dan (since he built the house). As I was getting ready to call him, he walked by, and I grabbed him and told him what was happening. I don’t recall much of a response from him. Rebecca and I had bikes and we decided to split up, her taking him to the house maybe, and me getting more help. After a little bit, I decided to call Dan but try as I might, I couldn’t get my phone to work. I was almost ready to throw it away.
Then I’m back at the house and things have gotten much worse. It’s tilting at 45 degrees and sunk about 10’ into a hot mud-flow. The fields out back are reformed into a low valley made of earth and stone through which a slow lava flow is moving. For a moment, I suggest this is a really amazing place to be, with a view of an active lava flow in our back yard. No one could stop us from exploring it like they would if it was a national park. What a view!
At some point, I had a higher view of the house. The woods, where I’d been so recently playing with the kids, had been mostly demolished by several excavators and bulldozers. It was mostly raw earth now. The mud flow went on and on out into the fields.
In the house, maybe we decide to explore? I recall jumping into the hot mud flow. Maybe someone else had first and I followed to rescue them? We sunk in to our chests. Then we saw some people arriving to help — they mounted the house from the driveway side and were coming down the tilted roof towards us. I had the feel that they were super heroes, though they weren’t actually. They were some kind of rescue squad, responding to my mental call back in the town.
That’s all I recall. Throughout, there was a vague impression of Rebecca — more a sense of being with someone close to me.
The entire story could have just all been the result of a Satori pool being rationalized into a lava pool.
Outside Inside: Here’s a casual example of the structure of the house laid out on an outside forest scene. Likely we were playing a game with a ball in our near-realm house while my Dream Self imagined itself in the woods outside Blaine House. The two realities merged and the woods overlaid the boundaries of the rooms in our house.
Satori Pool to Lava Pool: I’ve seen a few times where what seems like a satori pool is overlaid on the dream scene, and it becomes integrated into the dream in some form.
Unable to Make Contact: I try to contact Dan, and he appears but is non-responsive. His non-responsiveness is reflected in my failed attempt to call him with my phone.
Terraformed: With the lava and mud flow being the main event happening at Blaine House, when I leave and return, the surrounding area has taken on more of a form natural to that kind of landscape.
The excavators and bulldozers are strange. In the years since I left Blaine House, that forest WAS in fact destroyed by excavators and bulldozers to build more houses there. That destruction is not something I’d ever thought of before, but here I see it in a dream.
Astral Helpers: A little while after my call for help, a group of helpful people arrives at the scene.
Rock Your Body: With Blaine House acting as my physical body, here I am just outside the house on the porch, and as I move about within the house, it rocks back and forth — a common method of astral body separation. Often upon separation there is a scene change, and I find myself in a town. Returning to Blaine House, I’m now outside of it.
