Dream Journal

Before bed, Jessie and I were talking about ayahuasca. I was saying that while I often hear the disclaimer that “one doesn’t need psychedelics to have intense spiritual experiences”, and I believed that may be true for some, I didn’t feel like I could get anywhere close without them. Well, my dream self decided to prove me wrong. In the middle of the night, I became aware of being in a wildly altered state, a dark engine of power flowing through me. By dark I meant I felt a very dark inky brown fluid churning through my consciousness. It colored the dreams that followed.
