The Worst Way to Get to Narnia★★★
October 27, 2017

Myself and another person who had been to Narnia before were preparing to go back. We’d gathered about 10 friends in what felt like someone’s room on a college campus. The two of us were explaining how we were going to get there. I said “We don’t know what the gateway will be. I use the term gateway, but you could say portal or door. I would love to get pictures, but I’m not sure if your phones would work there. In fact, the gateway could be through water, so decide whether or not you want to risk it.”

We set off, first going down underground through some twisting concrete corridors with steps. I didn’t see anything that looked like a gateway. We returned to the surface, and started walking around. I saw something like a fountain — a round decorative pool on a little hill next to a large campus building. It was filled but not on. I felt or heard some musical sound coming from the earth below it. A lead! I jumped in. Nothing. I pushed myself down and under. I felt the thrilling tickle of potential but after several submersions, found nothing.

Next we were coming up to “the cliffs”. I’ve been here many times in dreams. The land comes to an end, sloping rapidly down to the sea. It was steeper in some places than others. I walked up to where the land began to fall away. It was a mild drop with rocky boulders. I climbed down. The ocean’s edge wasn’t as far down as usual in this area, and under the perfectly clear water, I saw a hyena walking along on the rocks. Under the water! I was astonished and climbed down a little further.

Remembering it now, the water’s edge above the hyena was really quite arbitrary. It was simply a mostly-transparent flat plane that was white where it touched the land. It had no reflections, no seaweed, no waves, no fish.

A security officer that felt kind of like an automaton saw me from higher up the slope and demanded that I halt. He was carrying a big gun. Instead of giving me time to come back up, he unleashed this big white and black tarp down the slope, making it more difficult for me to get up. I was pissed. This was unfair.

The next scene I recall is that I was back up at the top of the cliff and armed with a huge gun, and there were three automaton security guards pointing rocket launchers and other huge guns at me. There were people all around and there was no doubt I was going to die or be arrested. I decided to jump down the 75 foot drop into the ocean. I hit the surface and went under. I swam and swam and came up . . . in Narnia! It was colorful and strange, like an alien landscape.

The others were with me there as well. I thought, “how’d you all get here?”

Running Tours: Fascinating! This seems to be my waking self, using its knowledge of gateways, and fully believing we’re going to find one (we do). I’m accessing my dream self’s memory of the surrounding areas, but at the same time believing we’re in a physical place where phones operate and can break when submerged.

Thought-Form Security: I got the sense that the security guards were automated thought forms by the way they acted. Perhaps they were trying to prevent me from leaving this area.

I have no idea what the tarp the security guard rolled down was — some astral phenomenon I couldn’t translate.

A Dream Gathering: A group of dreamers getting together to find Narnia has a pretty good chance of success.

The Group Stays Together: After my huge jump into the ocean, I emerge into Narnia and find that the whole group is there without having jumped in with me. This is due to the Astral Law of Relative Position. By simply focusing on me, they remain in position relative to me, no matter where I move.

Surface of the Sea: I wonder what these clear surfaces are. Different layers of the astral? Here it just looks like more dry land below the “water’s” surface, as if I’m merely peering through a thin layer of light.
