Dream Journal

This was amazing. There was a substance or drug that powered people up. It was released by accident. The most powerful stuff was sealed in these little bubbles.
Rebecca and I leave our house. The sky is dark. We’re walking Finnegan not far from a bank. We run into Ed and Maria who are also Jared and Heather. A little ways down the road, we stop. I’m carrying a handful of boxes. Finnegan’s retractable dog leash comes unlocked (a real problem) and he rushes out into the street. I shout after him and several cars and trucks go right past him. Rebecca is watching, horrified, emotional. I am yanking the cord, pulling him back and he finally comes back safe. We’re cradling and petting Finnegan. Then Oliver runs out into the traffic and also comes back safe.
Now we’re in the big bank. It’s a glass-windowed building, maybe 5-8 stories tall, and huge inside. The walls are all tinted windows, and outside that is a layer of glass latticework.
Rebecca says she has something for me. I’m swimming to it through the bank’s fountains and deep pools. I swim over two silver bars and a gold bar. I pick them up underwater, see more, and start stacking them. I know this is a hint, a clue. I leave the stack. I finally get to where her gift to me is and I’m let into a largely empty vault. It has gold walls and scattered gold boxes in stacks, each with gold items in them. Some seem like objects that were spray-painted gold, like shoes and clothing, and I even see gold spray paint lying about. On the wall is a big digital display saying 40%. Her gift accounts for 40% of the gold in the bank. There are two guards and I say “Better stock up on gold again”. We begin stacking boxes of gold bars.
I’m looking out the window of the bank. I see a man smash out through the window on the first floor of a building. Then he rises up to the second floor, lands, and cheers. He flew! It’s a bearded guy, looks like a biker. A manager-looking guy flies up to the second floor and lands next to the biker. Another guy is sticking to the edge of the outside of the brick building, thrilled that he can stick to the side of the building and watching what’s going on below. Everyone was discovering that they had powers.
Inside, things are getting dangerous. A man has the most concentrated bit of substance, sealed up in a little clear plastic bubble. He calls out to everyone, full of energy and emotion. “Do you see this? This is the most concentrated and dangerous part! This, they are keeping from you!” and he tears open the bubble case and holds aloft a chunk of potato, seemingly taken from someone’s dinner plate. It’s saturated with the substance of power. Ground zero for the accidental release. Someone shoots over to grab it. At some point in the chaos, a cluster of four slowly-expanding black orbs is released from it, the orbs growing slowly and flashing from black to cinders and back. I know when they burst they’re going to explode massively. They do and an entire quadrant of the glass bank building is taken up in the explosion. Another black cinder bubble cluster flies in the opposite direction towards people coming up a spiral staircase. I watch to see what happens — as the bubbles expand, they melt and fuse onto the people coming up, who now look like glassy-skinned semi-molten thought forms. In fact there’s a wild chaos to every form here. Everything is inflated 120%, as if it was a balloon, overfilled. Colors are vivid, glowing. Everything is burning with inner heat. People are so filled with it that they are spontaneously displaying amazing powers.
I turn my attention to the corner where the first explosion was. The glass is uncompromised. Or was it destroyed and filled in again while my attention was focused on the stairs? I feel like it was. I wonder if I can break the glass. Someone else hurtles something at it and it bounces off. I pick something up and throw it at the glass at full power. It shoots right through it, leaving the shape of itself cut out of the glass. Beyond that I see the outer glass latticework described earlier. Things are getting crazy as people discover their power. Wild groups race each other . . . there’s a race to the top of the building.
I leave the bank. I’m standing out front, and I’m visited by someone — a mother, like Rox. We stand outside the bank, watching the chaos, when a giant pink cartoon rocket, all fluid like animation, takes off out of the bank and it swirls across the sky like a released balloon and is about to bop the mother on the head, when she holds up her hands together and blocks it, bouncing it back. It flies around and she blocks it two more times.
Some friends and I decide to get away from the chaos and danger of the bank area. We are driving along the shore of this big lake in California. There’s a housing development there that’s been abandoned because the lake is moving inland and expanding. This is something I visited in another dream yesterday or earlier tonight. The lake has moved further in since the last dream. We’re riding in a van (flying really) along the water’s edge and it’s wild and chaotic, and to our right are the remains of the first row of houses that were once along the beach. Now they are the bones of rotting houses sticking up out of water. To our left the houses are less damaged. We drive along until we get to the end of the road where there’s lake ahead of us. To the right, about 50” into deeper water are some huge pole markers. We fly out to them. This is familiar to me. I’d also heard the rumor passed along that at the last pole marker there was a code that would lead to treasure or something. We’re all floating near/clinging to the pole, and right next to us on the next pier is another group of people who also heard the rumor and is there looking for the markers to lead to the treasure. I think it’s a waste of time, just a rumor. Either I had dismissed it or already tried to find it in the earlier dream.
A slight break, and we’re inland from the pole marker. A road goes by here with lights (not dark and abandoned like the sunken neighborhood). The goal is the martial arts master power, and I remember here we find a brightly-colored statue of a martial arts master that gives us the power we were looking for. The group is psyched. This is where I awoke.
References: Finnegan was our dog. Oliver was Rebecca's parents' dog.
Dual Identity: Ed and Maria are in a very similar place in my mind to Jared and Heather: “once very good friend couples whose connection has faded somewhat due only to lack of time spent together”. This is how the relationship between me and those two characters in the rote is made understandable to my waking self.
Higher Energy Pouring Out: This is an amazing scene. Whatever this is, it is highly energetic, pushing out energy from higher frequencies into everyone and everything in the vicinity. The energy sustaining every thought-form (including people) is turned up, hyper-inflating everything from the inside, charging it with heat and brilliant color. Probably the best explanation is that it’s a channel or opening into a deeper, higher-energy frequency. At any rate, the flood of energy strips away some rational, waking limitations and gives people the energy and belief to do things they otherwise wouldn’t have thought they could.
Note how the high energy of one of the orbs melts and fuses the thought forms together. They lose their definition, becoming glassy (the early stages of melting). The energy of higher frequencies flows in through the interior of the lower forms. Everything is blazing with this inner energy, barely able to contain it.
Overinflating: The effect of the high-energy psychoactive substance is to overinflate everything. Typically large amounts of attention leads only to a very clear, well-defined thought form.
Fusing and Melting Thought-Forms: The high-energy orbs expand, fusing with and melting the thought forms coming up the staircase.
