I was watching a show that felt like the future. There was a greater intelligence, a higher world, a more advanced humanity. It was riotously creative and complex. The setting was a futuristic city. There was a gaming company, and a faction was splitting off, going rogue, with 127 games. It struck me that 127 was too much for our world’s people to wrap our heads around but not in this future society.
I remember following one guy around. He was once a great man but diminished now. There was a scene with giant vehicles driving slowly through a burning city. But the flames were whitish-tan, the buildings melted around the flames like ice would.
There were many characters. More than in most stories we know. One, which reminded me of Rafe, was beaten. The Rafe character appeared in one scene, high in a building in the city, with darkly bruised arms and legs. While he had once been a person of dwarfed stature, he had become a full-sized man. But he lamented that due to the damage from the beatings, he could no longer regenerate his limbs and would be forced to become short-limbed again.
In what felt like episode 2, we met the animal controllers. They could wield immense power, calling massive swirling animal forms to fast, highly-directed action. There were also synthetic men. The scope was vast, and I was rapt. I felt I had not dreamed this freely in ages. This was after 4 days on vacation, without a computer.
Just Watching: This is one of those cases where the feeling that I’m watching a show/movie persists through the entire experience. At no point to I jump into (inhabit) any of the characters. Usually I would jump into a character, experience it firsthand, and eventually go off the rails into my own adventures. But I got to “episode 2” knowing that I was still watching a show/movie.
Melting Buildings: Here we see an odd kind of dreamfire around melting buildings. Note that dreamfire isn’t typically hot — it’s just a light phenomenon.
Melting is the typical way that thought forms disappear. Usually this happens from lack of attention or a vague expectation of destruction. Being that I was not an active player in this movie, I was not the origin of these thought forms, and they melted even while I watched.
Whitish-Tan Dreamfire: An odd color of dreamfire. Notice how it’s melting the thought forms around it, which would be the astral equivalent of “destroying” matter.
Recharged Dreams: My new experiences and break from the repetition of daily life inspired newly empowered, fresh, expansive dreaming. New experiences awaken the mind — new ideas to explore, new connections to follow.
As attention is freed up from routines, it’s available to flow into new experiences.
