Pants Don’t Fail Me Now
October 11, 2010

Context: I used to work at Turner Broadcasting.

So I’m back at Turner again. I’ve been coming here in dreams regularly since I resigned. It’s dimly lit. I go to my cube and start gathering my stuff to take home. It’s a process of deciding what I most want to keep and piling it into my arms. After gathering a huge amount, I step out of my cube and my pants fall down. People are ignoring me for the most part, and there’s new people coming in to my cube and hooking up wild technology — this huge stack of black boxes with lots of black cables coming out of it everywhere. Some new decorations are appearing outside my cube. I set down all my stuff and pull my pants back up and then gather it all again and go downstairs, which I think is like a mass-transit mall.

Stopping By: I worked at Turner Broadcasting for a few years.
