Dream Journal
June 8, 2004
This is a relatively new dream place I’ve been going to in the past 5 years or so. It is bright, sunny, colorful, and happy. It’s a place I visit in deep sleep. Round-topped hills like these in dreams are very meaningful — a concentration of energy, perhaps. The Great Hills have gray wooden houses scattered about it, spiraling roads, and great views. I was excited to be finally moving here, to the rightmost hill. Our destination was like an old campground building, somewhat abandoned. There was an intention of “my family” moving there long ago — so much so that a huge storage area at the top of the right hill was somewhat filled with old belongings of Rox’s and Dan’s. I was looking through it for useful things. None of it was familiar at all. It was all was several decades old, seemingly from the 70s. Rebecca was with me, but in a great rush. I stretched her patience as much as possible, but then we left. I think it was nearly time to wake up!
The Great Hills: Now that I remember this dream place, I remember going here so often. I don’t recall them often due to their occurrence earlier in the night.
I wonder if this isn’t a scrolled out view of Arcology Hill on the left, actually. Arcology Hill is always without a greater context in my mind. And the specific context of the hill on the left in this view is only that it sparkles with distant lights among the thick forest there, which is what Arcology Hill looks like.
Above My Bed: The university and cave system I’m referring to is the Atlanta Tower. This tunnel upwards is a frequency/location transition, much like the tunnel at death.
