Dream Journal

I was with Rafe and Ed, who I’ll probably see later today. We were wandering about this town. It was daytime and overcast. We were going to go adventuring underground, in the underworld! It had this D&D feel to it. There was a place in the square where a door led underground. We started out and made it underground.
We returned above ground again. I suggested we go back down but first go to the shops for snacks, weapons, and armor. We went to the snack shop first. I picked out some drink boxes and snacks, then made a phone call. The lady said it was $81.10 and I was so mad. She said the cost was $10/minute. I left without paying. Distracted, the dream ended up on another path.
The phone thing was a waking issue — I’ve been mad about hotels charging for local calls.
To the Catacombs: These trips to the Catacombs and the underworld are often very carefully planned. Here we are getting supplies, but then getting distracted along the way.
Pre-Gathering: We often connect with people in the dream state when they’re on our minds. One sure way to establish a mutual connection is to have upcoming plans to see each other.
I used to do this when writing letters back and forth with people (before the internet). Typically there were months between letters, and over and over the night before a letter arrived, I dreamed of the person sending it. It happened so often, I’d wake up knowing that a letter from them would arrive that day, and was always right.
