Car Encased in Ice★★★
May 20, 1999

I dreamed Rebecca and I were on a cross country trip to San Francisco. We stopped at a gas station and I was distracted for a time inside. When I came back out, the Neon (our car) was all covered with a thick coat of transparent ice (hint hint: thought form)! Trying to crack it off, this girl broke the windows and the plot was altered to trying to get replacements. Oddly, when I went back to the car after making some phone calls or talking to people, the car had turned into a van with a funky one-piece front window.

Melting Thought-Form: Here we see the melting of a thought-form mistaken for a thick sheet of ice! Released from attention, the car thought form begins to melt. It loses its hard edges and the colors recede inward, making the exterior look like it’s covered in thick transparent ice. Once I take it to be a layer of ice, it begins to act like it. And thus the plot of the dream is altered by the very nature of astral matter itself.

Melting thought forms reforming with an apparent outer layer of ice is a common occurrence. This shows that one of the first changes is the exterior colors receding inwards. Coloring is also the last thing to appear when a thought form is created.

Cross-Country Trip: We moved from San Francisco to Atlanta a year and a half before, and we like to go back and visit in the dream state.
