Dream Communication★★★★
August 30, 1998

I’ve sadly forgotten most of it, but Rebecca and I were dreaming something and we started talking in bed but I realized through that dim, hazy consciousness that we weren’t using our mouths, and I think I was looking at her with closed eyes, too. I noticed the sound of her voice was in my head without passing through my ears, but it sounded the same anyway. There was a tuning that affected it. It might start softly and at times it would be loud enough to be distorted, a kind of rumbly distortion. I realized it was telepathy and reached a hand out to touch her mouth and it was closed while she talked. Then she jokingly said “Don’t you know it’s rude to touch a person while they’re sleeping?” Did I reach out physically or astrally? Probably astrally. We were talking about a dream we just had.

Telepathy and Clairvoyance: This is a stunning little example of everyday telepathy and clairvoyance that we probably all do on a nightly basis. It’s so natural — as natural as opening our eyes, as natural as talking — that we don’t question it. Our eyes are closed, our mouths are closed, and yet we are still seeing and communicating. Here I am lucid enough to experiment with tuning telepathy, and to use other senses — clairvoyant sight and touch — to double check it.
