Most Beautiful Rain Fairies★★★★

Arcology Hill Stadium

The following was a version of The Tower. As usual, it contained a challenge. It was a stadium with an angled walkway up the middle of the playing floor. There’s a repeating dream within the stadium in the form of Final Fantasy Tactics where I’m given a guitar that turns into a gun and I need to slay this George Clinton character. I’m unleashing water in different directions, and there are many repetitions.

Chasing George Clinton in the stadium

In the final repetition, all the children come to the opposite side of the stadium where I was and gather around me. A boy in the front looks at me sternly. His eye contact seems to have initiated a change in attitude that changes the scene to this:

It begins like another repetition but this plant-like light green creature leaps off the edge of a balcony and hits a switch which turns on a sprinkler system. The creature flies over the tops of the trees and plants itself in the middle of the stadium, which is like a greenhouse now. All these rain fairies of every color and shape leap off the plants and fly and zoom through the air. Each is a different color and light as air. I am one of them. I think I’m red or purple. The rain keeps us flying and we swirl about and dance on the breeze. Our collective will keeps the rain falling. We perch on a grove of trees. Someone asks me “Wasn’t that fun?” and I say “Yuup!” I feel pure joy and we laugh. The rain has stopped and I ask “What happens now? How do we hide?” We’re slowing down and she says just grab the plant and rest. Then I wake up.

The flying was exhilarating! It was like a wonderful ride filled with such energy and fun. This was a most beautiful life. They seemed like plant spirits which come to life in the rain. This last repetition of the challenge was definitely a true dream.

References: George Clinton is a funky musician.

Rain Fairies (Plant Spirits): What a wonderful experience. Here I get to become another form of life and experience things the way they do.

Repetitions: Here’s an example of dream repetition. The basic plot is the same each time with different decisions or different elements thrown in. But oddly enough, the final repetition with the plant thing is totally different. It was less of a replay and more of an entirely new game, initiated by the boy.

Switching Channels: This stadium at the top of the Arcology Hill is used for games and challenges. Based on the angry kids, I think I might have been projecting my strange Final Fantasy Tactics dream onto their environment, running around like a crazy person. The boy helps me tune into their channel, and I see and join in with their dream instead, which is delightful.
