It was a night realm and I was in a big office tower. There were these spotlight things out there searching for me. I was with someone who knew lots about them. You had to hide from them. If they shone in the window and lit you up, they’d follow you closely and have ultimate manipulative power over the dream. The stairwell in the office tower was glass and we had to run in short bursts to avoid the lights. We could see them moving through the thick, cloudy black sky before they beamed out at us. At the time, I was an expert on how they worked and what they did but much of that has faded.
A girl had joined us. I found her attractive. We got to a high floor and ran about hiding. I hid in a closet just as the light shone at the closet door, but the guy with me was caught in the light right outside. Since the light was still getting in a little through the edges of the closet door, he coached me on what to do, telling me to hold still and look at the darkest areas of the closet door. I did and began feeling calmer and calmer. Did the light leave? Soon I exited the closet. The guy told us all to take off all our clothes so that the light couldn’t copy us exactly. On retrospect, it was a thing which I had wanted, and, as the lights were known to absolutely manipulate the dream, made little sense as a deterrent. Soon, we all sat along the wall, naked. I turned to the girl and asked if she’d like to do it and she said, enthusiastically, “Yes!” We were about to but some force prevented us. I looked outside and it was full daylight. In fact, it had been daylight for a little bit. The room was the same, but I could see that it was now speeding over a brown-red rocky landscape with sand dunes. So the lights had gotten us. The other guy said that it was probably an illusion meant to prevent us from jumping out. I wake up.
The Dream Lights: We were in a dark astral realm where the lights in the sky may have been higher astral beings, who, by means of the low state, we interpreted and experienced through paranoid eyes and feared. When actually caught, we were rescued to a higher vibrational realm and became more happy and relaxed (since we didn’t fight it). The claim of the lights having “ultimate manipulative power” was a poison pill to cast doubt if they found us.
