Dream Journal

I’m on a school bus with a bunch of other kids and (I think I created this plot by wondering) one had this rotting disease that we all suddenly got — a sort of tape worm thing. There was a lot of action and stand-offs and then we blamed this girl for being the cause. We all got off the bus and decided to kick her ass. The road was deep red, like Atlanta clay, all just freshly torn-up dirt. There were lots of trees. Suddenly I was the girl, walking towards the intersection where I could be seen by the gang of angry kids, knowingly doing so to further the story, unafraid. They came after me and I ran. I knew this had to happen. They chased me into a barn and were beating me up but I felt no pain. My will pushed through and I shouted, explaining everything, and eventually I was in control of the plot and the group again.
It was I think at this point the dark barn turned into the space station. The plot continued as a story with aliens. The “others” in this dream were the gang of kids in the previous one. I jumped from one body to another.
Scene Change: The scene changes and it’s an entirely different place. The characters have changed form, too, but the same story continues.
Entering Tough Situations: I frequently get involved in tough situations like this on purpose. I seek drama in dreams, and here I clearly and knowingly put myself in a character who I helped get into trouble, and orchestrate the scene so that the trouble comes and I can overcome it.
