Morning meditation: This helps: every thought you have, say “let go of that.” Then after a while say “let go of letting go.”
After the initial chaos in the mind settles down, Satori begins. It’s a sort of visual Aum, a repeating wave that evens out the charges, smooths everything. The Satori pool begins to build and brighten. At times there was something like an aurora brightening and softening, causing waves of coolness in my body. The bright holding pattern eventually turned into a dark mirror of visions, the very first being the pathways of the brain lit up and seen as shrubbery before mountains.
As the Satori pool got wider, its periphery triggered little lightning flashes. Then the pool built up over them. These little flashes seemed to be discharged into the pool and evened out.
When I got up, I felt very expanded!
Getting to Satori: When relaxing into sleep or meditating, your mind has to descend through your charged thoughts. The task is to avoid giving them fresh attention, so that you can quiet your mind enough to reach the point where you begin to see the waves of Satori.
The Satori Pool: How interesting that the Satori Pool itself seems to be discharging parts of the brain as it expands and opens the gateway to dreams.
