The Book of Dreams★★
August 13, 1997

I was studying this big, finely-illustrated book of dreams. It was telling of dream worlds and such, very much exciting me. The theories echoed my astral dream theories to a large part. I was also doing big longitudinal studies of Monroe, but it was inconclusive. I remember bits of scenes. I think I went into the cover picture as I descended slowly (I thought I was sky diving) onto a beautiful snowy mountaintop. I was with someone, and we were going to ski or something. There was something about a concert, and my/Rebecca’s Tamagotchi grew up into a flying turtle playing a flute with this swirl in the background. I may have followed into its world.

The swirl in the background

References: Robert Monroe is an OBEr and author. A Tamagotchi is a digital pet toy.

Gateway Transition: As I descended into the picture, I descended into the scene. This shows a gradual transition between contexts.

Skydiving Into a Rote: Here I take my descent into the rote (as it enlarges around me) to be skydiving, which is pretty accurate imagery, without any visual rationalization.
