Going Under!★★★★
August 8, 1997

This was the weirdest experience EVER! I was woken by Rebecca snoozing the alarm or something and then laid down facing away from her. I then got it in my head to turn over and wrap around her, and I felt the urge to but it was too late! I felt myself being pulled inwards and this mawing deep slow voice sound, like my voice, but slowed down to a deep “auuuuu,” like this sound:

Going Under:
Sound from this video by MusicMindMagic

The sound was startling and slightly disturbing. It was not physical — it came from a strange internal source, not through my ears. The pulling inward sensation was a pulling from the body sensation. Then there was an almost popping sound, like a transportation or change was occurring. When it was complete I lost all body sensation and then completely blacked out for 1-2 timeless seconds — a lot longer than I had imagined it would be.

After the 1-2 second blackout, I was back, in this dim space where I felt very small. I said in my head “Shit, I’m dreaming!” and then struggled to come back, with the singular motivation of rolling over in bed behind it. I didn’t even remember this until 5 minutes after I woke up for good (after another short dream).

NEAT! I DID IT!

References: Akira is a movie.

Body Separation Experience: The way this came about was in the style of an OBE. A Lucid Dream begins as a dream, while an OBE begins while being consciously awake and watching the transition across.
