Grocery Ben★★
July 16, 1997

So I’m working at this shitty grocery store. It’s a big mess and I can’t find anything I need so every customer is taking forever. Then this girl pays in coins and I have the worst time counting them. Then when I turn my back, someone takes them and all these people start messing with me and stealing stuff. Suddenly Rebecca pokes her head out of our trailer home and shouts that there’s tornadoes nearby and I get really excited. So we start chasing after suspects and yelling and Rebecca gets all into the walls and I worry but it’s okay.

Counting Coins: Even something as seemingly simple as counting coins can be an insurmountable technical task in dreams. The short-term memory of the dream self is too short to keep track of where you are.
