Dream Journal
July 11, 1997
This is one of the worst dreams I’ve ever had. I was driving through Nevada with two friends and got a ticket which required 3 days of jail time. I showed up and the woman “shortened” my sentence to 3 days. Yay. So I went in and found my own cell. The jail wasn’t guarded and the gates weren’t locked, however. There were movies to watch. I went outside and it was as big as a city. The atmosphere of the jail town was murky, dark, and heavy. There were many people there. I kept walking further and found there were no walls, no escape. In the town, everything was super color-contrasted, almost like a theme park. The color red, especially, was at once both much brighter and murkier than usual.
Then we were in some classroom. We had all brought our projects in but the TV lacked batteries. The scene turned into this play about snapping-jaw underwater worms that I disturbed or something. My friends and I were underwater and there was a huge sunken pirate ship that belonged to me. We were finding gold and treasure. At one point I pulled at a beam and it started to collapse but in slow underwater motion. The transition to the underwater scene was an easy one due to the heavy, dark feeling of the jail town.
So through all the jail city scenes I must have been getting attached because when the demonic mass-murder guy came I was so scared and disappointed. He was an evil genius, pure evil and hate. You could escape for a few seconds but he’d always find you. The demon had all-brown eyes and was composed of meat and tumors. It seemed to always attack whoever felt the safest, though it was absent at times. He had machine guns and would spray death upon people. The bullets penetrated brick and left little hell flicker-flames where they hit the ground. I escaped once and played dead but he knew and fired at my head. In the end only the three of us could stop him. I finally snuck up on him and pounced. He said “You think you can beat me?” He froze me in the air and unleashed his deep demonic hate power. I knew I couldn’t beat that level of violence and hate. I tried to gouge his eyes out but he kept rewinding me and freezing me.
This dream was a complete hell nightmare. There was some powerful “Mary” or something there, too.
Astral Hells: This is a lower astral area I fell into. The prison city wasn’t so bad, though it had a disturbing kind of light. However, the demonic mass-murder guy was terrifying.
The Demon: Beating the demon with violence was out of the question. Had I full possession of my waking memories, I’d have known to beat him by expanding my consciousness or beaming love at him or simply ignoring him and focusing on something else.
Rewind and Retry by ANOTHER: This is the only time I’ve seen another entity in the dream use rewind and retry.
However, note that I was aware of the rewinding, so my action was being rewound but not my awareness.
