Dream Journal

I was part of a huge pack of kids wandering across big snow-covered fields. I see Rox on a snowmobile off in the distance coming towards us. She’s jumping the ditches that separate the sod fields. I began to fear Rox crashing, and thus at the nearest ditch the snowmobile crashes into the near side. Her body flies out and goes bouncing back and forth several times before landing and disappearing under the ice. I go running out onto the ice. I reach under, grab her hand and pull her out to safety. Then I helped her gather her stuff: shoes and knick knacks. Of course I was projecting them all into existence by looking for them. The ground was not littered with things when I began. Every behind-a-thing or beyond-a-door is pure potential. She had come to pick me up for something.
Snowmobile: Rox’s speed of approach suggests that she was fast-traveling towards me, and because we were on snowy fields, I rationalized her on a snowmobile.
Fears Create: Growing up, there were sod fields with ditches behind Blaine House. The snow would often obscure the ditches and sometimes people would crash their snowmobiles into them — thus my fear and the resulting events. At the point of my fear expectation, I entered a subjective dream projection where the crash took place.
