Dream Journal
June 19, 1997
Context: Rebecca started her new job today. I was sleeping alone during the dream.
Grocery Shopping: Rebecca and I were grocery shopping (we needed to go shopping in waking life) and we were at the check-out counter but forgot some things. So I ran to get them and got horribly lost and distracted.
Deadly Dan Rage: Dan, in Blaine House, tells me he recorded my last two blow jobs on video and read my journal and took my messages. Of course this sent me into a furious rage and I went around destroying all his electronics: video camera, stereo, printer, and so on.
Hurricane Blaine: So I’m camping at Blaine House. This wind picks up and increases until it blows my tent loose from the tent stakes. The tent starts to roll. There are rarely storms in my dreams.
Goodbye, Rebecca: We’re all living in new one-story houses in the burbs. It’s night. Rebecca and I are together in one house. Joshua, Ed, Chapin, Dave, and Wendy are in another, and Erica, Yvette, and Drew are nearby. Rebecca tells me she wants to date other people. I feel disbelief, then cry torrents of tears. She wanted to go out with Garrick or maybe had some other date in mind. I said I couldn’t handle that and probably would never talk to her again. She wanted to cuddle with other people. Then she left for her date. I cried and cried. Erica found me and cuddled with me for a while.
Then we were walking to Erica’s place and I saw Garrick at Yvette’s door, knocking. He was dressed up and carrying flowers. There was no answer, so he walked dejectedly away. Then I saw Yvette and Drew walking happily about 100 feet to my left. I went to Joshua’s house, fell onto his bed, and started crying. I explained why.
A little later I saw Rebecca. The guy didn’t show up for her date but there was this other guy she saw who she knew and they went somewhere. I woke up and decided to STAY AWAKE.
Distractions: It’s so easy to get distracted when in shortened context dream state.
Ultimate Sadness: I feel it as if it was 100% real, the end of everything we had together.
