The Flowing Form of Reality

Frequency Domains and the Physical Multiverse

The Source is pure consciousness, existing outside of and unconstrained by physical time or space. From it flows a spiritual reality of progressively slowing frequencies of consciousness divided into bands of light and darkness known as frequency domains.

The physical multiverse (one of many) is created by and exists within these spiritual dimensions. This is the physical reality our consciousness currently lives within, full of galaxies, planets, people, and objects. The physical multiverse is composed of its three spatial dimensions, physical time, and multiple timelines. To the higher-dimensional consciousness, the physical multiverse is essentially transparent and can be easily traversed and entered in any desired way.

Our Earthly experience is that of nonphysical consciousness temporarily inhabiting a physical body and experiencing life from within one of the the countless physical multiverses.

The Shape of the Multiverse

Once when I was in the state into which my experiments brought me, I asked myself: “What is the world?”

Immediately I saw a semblance of some big flower, like a rose or a lotus, the petals of which were continually unfolding from the middle, growing, increasing in size, reaching the outside of the flower and then in some way again returning to the middle and starting again at the beginning. . . . In this flower there was an incredible quantity of light, movement, colour, music, emotion, agitation, knowledge, intelligence, mathematics, and continuous unceasing growth. And while I was looking at this flower someone seemed to explain to me that this was the “World” or “Brahma” NOTE: the Creator in its clearest aspect and in the nearest possible approximation to what it is in reality. . . .

This again was “infinity.” (Ouspensky 290)ANMUpsychedelic • Theosophy • Ouspensky

The shape of reality as a rose
The shape of reality as a lotus

This is a higher-dimensional view of the energetic flow into physical multiverse, and is not related to physical space or time.

A very fast vibratory pulsation of my abdominal wall spread through my entire body. Then this pulsating spread to each and every molecule that my eyes beheld. In front of me appeared an incredibly beautiful lotus flower amidst a nonphysical Light. I entered into the Light through the open lotus flower—the whole world still vibrating at an incredible rate. However, the moment I merged into the unconditional love of this Light, all vibration stopped. A deep silence came over me as I fell into a deep trancelike sleep for about an hour and a half. (Kübler-Ross 12)EtS-EKR • modern • Kübler-Ross

The lotus flower is the closest representation of the form of the physical universe. The vibration is its frequency. She likely exited the physical universe upon reaching the center of the lotus, and was unable to bring back the memories of what happened after.

The Holographic Beam

A hologram is recorded by splitting a laser beam so that one side shines on an object, and the other on a recording plate. The recorded image itself does not look like the object in normal light, but the object is brought back into form by shining the laser beam (or reference beam in more general terms) back on the recording plate.

In higher-dimensional reality, the reference beam is created by the focusing of consciousness — the light of our attention.

Over years of OBEs, Monroe went deeper and deeper into the source of reality, and saw for himself the beam creating the physical universe.

. . . the spiral becomes tighter, tighter . . . narrowing, very narrow . . . the current is stronger . . . hard to move against . . . but still moving . . . ahead of me the vortex point . . . too small, can’t get through it . . . concentrate energy . . . skip . . . skip. . . .

. . . the dream NOTE: the physical universe is fading quickly. (Monroe 210-211)

So I have to make one more run, to the other end of the circle. I know what it is . . . to move the other way on the Interstate, not out but in. . . .

. . . and I move swiftly in . . . everything moves, everything moves . . . going against the flow again, following back to where it began . . . a huge flower of particles and light folding back together . . . back into a beam . . . a beam . . . get into it, move with it . . . can I stand it? It is so strong. . . .

. . . and there it is . . . the Emitter! No, there was no big bang . . . it came from the Emitter . . . the creation of the hologram . . . and there it is, the return flow off to one side . . . a cycle . . . a closed loop . . . a circle! (Monroe 219)UJOBEr • modern • Monroe

The stem of each flower of creation, then, is the Source’s beam of light constantly shining into and sustaining that holographic reality.

The physical universe, including the whole of humankind, is an ongoing creative process. . . . Who or what this Creator is lies beyond the Emitter and the Aperture. . . . All I have is the overwhelming experience in the ray near the Emitter. (Monroe 224)

Aperture: Entry point into the beyond, the source of the creative force that organized NOTE: continuously sustains and organizes our physical universe. (Monroe 271)UJOBEr • modern • Monroe

Monroe’s definition of the Emitter is essentially the same as the Aperture, enough to be considered the same thing — the opening through which the physical multiverse is created.

In its whole, Monroe’s description is very much like a magnetic field. There is a flow down the center, and a circum-flow around the outside that re-enters the flow again. But this would be a higher-dimensional magnetic field.

Magnetic Fields

A magnetic field is created when a continuous current moves through a coil or spiral. This results in a magnetic current through the center of the coil (this is the reference beam). The energy moves out one end, then moves forward in an arc before looping back around and returning to the entrance again.

The resulting magnetic lines of force are shown here:

A magnetic field.

Things do not leave God in a straight line and then suddenly turn around and go back. Rather, they go out from Him following a line that “inclines,” eventually curving back on its source. Everything in the cosmos follows a circular route. (Chittick 224)SDoGwisdom • Sufism • Arabi

Ibn Arabi’s description reflects the path of a magnetic field.

The Torus

If we reduce a magnetic coil down into its most basic shape, we have a torus.

One of the images that repeatedly comes to me is the torus (the shape of a doughnut). This feels like a depiction of infinite energy, the basic building block of the universe.

A torus

Each torus has a wave of energy within, eternally moving in a single direction, trying to catch itself. That is the infinite pump that creates the flow through its center. This flow through the center would then be the opening through which the physical multiverse is continuously created, formed by the beam of energy pouring through its center.

It moves but is unmoving. The originating force, ever unchanging, eternally producing motion.
Particle diagram. White ring on the inside, closed loop.
Black ring on the outside, open loop

This torus is a frictionless loop of energy — simply put: a current, with no beginning or end. So this current creates a magnetic field, with a magnetic current flowing out through its center, around the torus, and back into the other side. As with any magnetic field, it has the properties of polarity, attraction, and repulsion.

A torus with a magnetic field.

Now let’s put this all together.

At the point where the flow of the beam (the stem of the flower) meets a dimensional boundary of some kind (the base of the flower), it creates a torus opening into those dimensions, creating a magnetic field. The beam then “blooms” outward into those dimensions as countless holographic fragments in the shape of a rose or lotus. The resulting magnetic field perfectly illustrates the flow of the energy through the lotus petals as it comes forth from the center and moves around the circumference back to the origin point in the torus.

Universes blossoming (as lotus flowers in a pond)

In this way, each universe is unceasingly created and sustained by the Source. The beam itself is the flow, the focused light of consciousness, a light from outside the physical multiverse, a light that creates and sustains it. Through the torus, that light splinters off into higher-dimensional holographic forms across ever newly-created space and time.

Taken all together, this is the Source, creating and experiencing its creation.

Clouds of Toruses

Picture a cloud of tiny toruses — single units, moving about, attaching to others, positive to negative, forming strings, bending, then connecting back with their other end into a larger torus made up of smaller toruses. These larger ones then do the same.

The Torus as the Eye of Consciousness

Imagine the torus as an eye. On one side of it is our memory. By focusing outward, we perceive the present world, and that experience is reflected into our memories. By changing the direction of the current in the torus, we instead perceive our memories, our previous experience, and project that out into the world, or project it as the world.

See “Love and Fear” in flow-into-us.php.

The torus may very well be the smallest unit of consciousness, one that is reproduced again and again as smaller toruses join together into greater and greater toruses.

See “The Building Blocks of Reality” in flow.php.

Transcendence Reveals Holographic Nature

All objects within my panoramic gaze trembled and vibrated like quick motion pictures. My body, Master’s, the pillared courtyard, the furniture and floor, the trees and sunshine, occasionally became violently agitated, until all melted into a luminescent sea; even as sugar crystals, thrown into a glass of water, dissolve after being shaken. The unifying light alternated with materializations of form, the metamorphoses revealing the law of cause and effect in creation. . . .

The divine dispersion of rays poured from an Eternal Source, blazing into galaxies, transfigured with ineffable auras. Again and again I saw the creative beams condense into constellations, then resolve into sheets of transparent flame. By rhythmic reversion, sextillion worlds passed into diaphanous luster; fire became firmament. . . .

The creative voice of God I heard resounding as Aum, the vibration of the Cosmic Motor. (Yogananda 143-144)AoaYwisdom • Hinduism • Yogananda

Yogananda was seeing back and forth across the frequency boundaries between the beam and its holographic creation. He was moving back and forth upstream and downstream in the microgeny. Aum, the Cosmic Motor, may be the sound of the unceasing microgeny, the sound of perpetual motion.

“Lord,” I prayed, “am I dead or alive?”

A dazzling play of light filled the whole horizon. A soft rumbling vibration formed itself into words:

“. . . The relativities of life and death belong to the cosmic dream. Behold your dreamless being! Awake, my child, awake!” . . .

He pours His creative beam through the films of successive ages, and the picture are thrown on the screen of space. . . .

The colorful universal drama is . . . issuing from the single white light of a Cosmic Source. (Yogananda 268-269)AoaYwisdom • Hinduism • Yogananda

The soft rumbling is the sound of Aum, which Yogananda unconsciously translates into physical terms as words. He then witnesses the light beam that encodes and reads the hologram calling forth scenes.

I sat on my bed in the lotus posture. . . . Lifting my gaze, I noticed that the ceiling was dotted with small mustard-colored lights, scintillating and quivering. . . . Myriads of pencilled rays, like sheets of rain, gathered into a transparent shaft and poured silently upon me.

At once my physical body lost its grossness and became metamorphosed into astral texture. I felt a floating sensation as, barely touching the bed, the weightless body shifted slightly and alternately to left and right. I looked around the room; the furniture and walls were as usual, but the little mass of light had so multiplied that the ceiling was invisible. I was wonder-struck.

“This is the cosmic motion picture mechanism.” A voice spoke as though from within the light. “Shedding its beam on the white screen of your bed sheets, it is producing the picture of your body. Behold, your form is nothing but light!”

I gazed at my arms and moved them back and forth, yet could not feel their weight. An ecstatic joy overwhelmed me. This cosmic stem of light, blossoming as my body, seemed a divine replica of the light beams streaming out of the projection booth in a cinema house. (Yogananda 270-271)AoaYwisdom • Hinduism • Yogananda

This was published in 1946. This analogy is as close as one can get without being aware of holography.

From this marvelous point the entire existence, of which my body and its surroundings were a part, poured out like radiation, as if a reflection as vast as my conception of the cosmos were thrown out upon infinity by a projector no bigger than a pinpoint, the entire intensely active and gigantic world picture dependent on the beams issuing from it. (Krishna 291)LWKmeditator • Hinduism • Krishna

Here it is again: the beam that creates the hologram.

The brain also works via the Holographic Model. We’ll go into more detail on this in “The Holographic Brain” in holographic-mind.php.

Dimensions

Nature of Dimensions

The physical universe has five dimensions: 3 spatial dimensions, physical time (the 4th dimension), and timelines (the 5th dimension — also known as probable realities). We live within the spatial dimensions and move steadily in one direction through physical time. We exist within timelines but are aware of only one.

Outside the physical multiverse exists another set of dimensions, beginning with the non-dimensional Source, moving outward into psychological time and the dimensions of consciousness. These create, sustain, and interpenetrate the physical multiverse; the sea from which it arises. Its most essential dimension is frequency, which determines where in the spectrum of frequency domains our consciousness is focused.

The lowest frequency domain of consciousness is the astral, and it exists right next to the physical universe. The domains of consciousness operate under different laws. An incarnation is a trip from the nonphysical through the physically-oriented astral frequencies and then into the physical dimensions.

Consciousness, in relation to the physical universe, is best thought of as occupying a 4th spatial dimension. When outside of the body, our consciousness can use 4D spatial perception and movement within the 3D physical environment. One can effortlessly see through and move through physical objects. Out of habit, we usually remain locked into physical time, but this can vary as we move in and out of psychological time.

After experience in the physical universe, a nonphysical consciousness can project physical dimensions into its environment. But its natural reality is nonphysical. Consciousness can also share memories — whole physical experiences shared as immersive stories.

A memory contains three spatial dimensions + time. You can move back and forth through the time within or pause it. Your psychological time continues while recorded time in the memory acts as a dimension that can be locked into or moved through.

A near-universal aspect of near death experiences (NDEs) is called the life review, wherein one rapidly sees their whole physical life from beginning to end. This happens as we exit the memory of physical life. This is a change of our dimensional perception as we become unlocked from physical time. Instead of seeing moment to moment, we move into a higher dimension of perception where we can see the whole stream of time at once (though typically it is seen in rapid linear fashion).

But the most important things we perceive are the thoughts and feelings of everyone involved. So the activity in the higher frequency domains must be part of the “recording” of physical life. This is then perceived by the higher frequency self, when we open to our greater self and our subconscious perceptions become conscious.

Dimensions are always dimensions of perception.

In the nonphysical, attention becomes proximity, and level of desire translates into speed towards its object. These may be a sort of dimensional transformations or rotations.

See “Focus and Proximity” in planes-of-consciousness.php.

An increase in dimensions means an increase of information. (Friedman 47)BS&Sresearcher • modern • Friedman

[A dimension] is any way in which a thing can be measured that is entirely different from all other ways. . . .

Time measures my life without employing the three dimensions of length, width, and height. . . .

The more dimensions an object has, the more substantial and real it becomes. . . .

All three-dimensional objects are but cross sections of four-dimensional bodies. Which means: when I meet you, I meet a cross section of the four-dimensional you. . . . To see the four-dimensional self I must see every cross section or moment of your life from birth to death and see them all as coexisting. (Goddard 202-203)Rmystic • New Thought • Goddard

Higher Dimensional Beings, Objects, and Events

Appearing in Different Places

One higher-dimensional object can appear as multiple objects on a lower-dimensional plane. For example, imagine that you put your 3D fingers through a flat 2D world in several places, causing seemingly separate objects to appear there. Watching closely enough, an observer in the 2D world might notice that their behaviors is somehow linked, though it seems impossible with nothing connecting them. Yet you know that this is because in our 3D dimension, they are part of a single continuous object, controlled by a single source.

Advance this by one dimension, and you understand how many 3D objects or events can be the result of a single 4D object or event.

Many of these invisible particles (CU’s) can be in more than one place at a time—a fact that quite confounds the physically tuned brain perceiving a world in which objects stay where they are supposed to be.

Basically, however, each “appearance” of such a particle is a self-version, for it is altered to some extent by its “location.” . . . When you look at an electron—figuratively speaking—you are observing a trace or a track of something else entirely, and that appearance is termed an electron. So the self that you know is a physical trace or intrusion into space and time of an “original” self that never appears. . . .

The unknown self, the “original self,” straddles realities, dipping in and out of them in creative versions of itself, taking on the properties of the system in which it appears, and the characteristics native to that environment. (Roberts 451-452)UR2channeled • modern • Seth

Appearing in Different Times

While a 4D object can appear in different places at the same time, a 5D object can appear in different places and times.

An illustration of this would be to imagine a film strip laying across a tabletop, curving about. This is the stream of time, a 2D representation of 4 dimensions: 3D physical space + time. Now imagine a blob on the table. This blob represents a 5D object. Having 3 dimensions to the film strip’s 2, it intersects the curving film strip at two different points. In each, it enters into 3D physical space and time. That single blob then appears in the film strip at two different places at two different times. Those in the film strip would never suspect that it is one object.

The film represents spacetime.

Physics: The Quantum Potential and Nonlocality

Consider an extremely unstable atom physicists call positronium. The positronium atom is composed of an electron and a positron. . . . The two eventually annihilate each other and decay into two quanta of light or “photons” traveling in opposite directions. . . . According to quantum physics no matter how far apart the photons travel, when they are measured they will always be found to have identical angles of polarization. (Polarization is the spatial orientation of the photon’s wavelike aspect as it travels away from its point of origin.)

[The twin particles] were part of an indivisible system, and it was meaningless to think of them otherwise. (Talbot 36-37)

Aspect and his team discovered that, as quantum theory predicted, each photon was still able to correlate its angle of polarization with that of its twin. . . . Aspect’s experiment is generally viewed as virtual proof that the connection between the two photons is nonlocal. . . . Randall Davis . . . observes . . . “The nonlocal aspects of quantum systems is therefore a general property of nature.” (Talbot 53)HUscientific, researcher • modern • Talbot

Bohm called his proposed new field the quantum potential and theorized that, like gravity, it pervaded all of space. However, unlike gravitational fields, magnetic fields, and so on, its influence did not diminish with distance. Its effects were subtle, but it was equally powerful everywhere. . . .

The quantum potential . . . indicated that the behavior of the parts was actually organized by the whole. This not only took Bohr’s assertion that subatomic particles are not independent “things,” but are part of an indivisible system one step further, but even suggested that wholeness was in some ways the more primary reality. . . .

[Bohm] notes that “such quantum wholeness of activity is closer to the organized unity of functioning of the parts of a living being than it is to the kind of unity that is obtained by putting together the parts of a machine.” . . .

Bohm’s interpretation of quantum physics indicated that at the subquantum level, the level in which the quantum potential operated, location ceased to exist. . . .

Physicists call this property “nonlocality.” (Talbot 39-41)HUscientific, researcher • modern • Talbot

Higher-Dimensional Objects

[Bohm] offers the following analogy: Imagine a fish swimming in an aquarium. Imagine that you have never seen a fish or an aquarium before and your only knowledge about them comes from two television cameras, one directed at the front and the other at its side. When you look at the two television monitors you might mistakenly assume that the fish on the screens are separate entities. After all, because the cameras are set at different angles, each of the images will be slightly different. But as you continue to watch you will eventually realize there is a relationship between the two fish. When one turns, the other makes a slightly different but corresponding turn. When one faces the front, the other faces the side, and so on. If you are unaware of the full scope of the situation, you might wrongly conclude that the fish are instantaneously communicating with one another, but this is not the case. No communication is taking place because at a deeper level of reality, the reality of the aquarium, the two fish are actually one and the same. This, says Bohm, is precisely what is going on between particles such as the two photons emitted when a positronium atom decays. (Talbot 41-42)HUscientific, researcher • modern • Talbot

What Bohm is illustrating is that both flat two-dimensional images of the fish from different angles show different aspects of a higher-dimensional object — the three-dimensional fish. This ceases to be instantaneous communication (nonlocality) because it is now understood to be one thing.

Every time we talk about a sharing of information through the unity of consciousness or the quantum field, we can just as easily consider this information coming through parts a single higher-dimensional object. In effect, all of physical reality is simply a single superdimensional “object” that takes on all forms in space and time. At the center of that superdimensional object is the unchanging non-dimensional Source.

Individual Behavior Determined by the Whole

Think of this as the higher-dimensional object or event determining the behavior and position of all its individual parts, potentially “separated” by time and space.

One of the significant features of Bohm’s quantum potential is that its effect on the particle depends on its form rather than its magnitude. . . . The wave may have large effects even at long distances, for the wave does not carry energy; it is an information wave. . . .

The information within the radio waves actually guides the enormous energy possessed by the ship. . . .

The particle moves via its own energy but is directed by the quantum potential. (Friedman 49-50)BS&Sresearcher • modern • Friedman

When a particle taps into the information field, its movement reflects the state of the whole. . . . The essential feature of the quantum field and the resulting quantum potential is that any event happening anywhere is immediately available everywhere as information. (Friedman 54)BS&Sresearcher • modern • Friedman

The Behavior of Plasmas

At the Berkeley Radiation Laboratory Bohm began what was to become his landmark work on plasmas. A plasma is a gas containing a high density of electrons and positive ions, atoms that have a positive charge. To his amazement, he found that once they were in a plasma, electrons stopped behaving like individuals and started behaving as if they were part of a larger and interconnected whole. Although their individual movements appeared random, vast numbers of electrons were able to produce effects that were surprisingly well organized. Like some amoeboid creature, the plasma constantly regenerated itself and enclosed all impurities in a wall in the same way that a biological organism might encase a foreign substance in a cyst. So struck was Bohm by these organic qualities that he later remarked he’d frequently had the impression the electron sea was “alive.” . . .

These were no longer situations involving two particles, each behaving as if it knew what the other was doing, but entire oceans of particles, each behaving as if it knew what untold trillions of others were doing. (Talbot 38)HUscientific, researcher • modern • Talbot

Higher-Dimensional Movement

You can remain stationary in any number of dimensions while moving in another dimension. While sitting still in one place physically, we can yet still be traveling in terms of a higher dimension.

When you are on earth a prison is a real obstacle. Project yourself, and it is nothing more than a picture through which you can pass, with ease, as if it did not exist. On the other hand, in the projected state, if an astral box closes you in, you are well and truly imprisoned. Leave the astral plane, project yourself into a higher dimension, and you then escape from the malevolent influences that are holding you back. . . .

Each world, earthly or super-terrestrial, is therefore a momentary reality. In order to conquer it, we must abandon it, and seek refuge in a more powerful atmosphere. (Yram 98-99)PAPOBEr • Yram

What is real on earth is illusion in the next plane, and so on. (Yram 171)PAPOBEr • Yram

The limitations of any dimension give way in a higher dimension.

When moving through the frequency dimension of consciousness, our perception shifts to higher and lower frequency domains.

To see how this works in great detail, see “Moving Between Astral Subplanes” in movement.php.

Higher-Dimensional Senses

We are higher-dimensional consciousness experiencing a life in a body that is boxed into a lower-dimensional space. Here our perception and movement are blocked by the three spatial dimensions of the physical world. But this only remains true when focused in the physical body, in the self we developed for that specific purpose.

Outside of it, our natural perception and movement is unlimited by the physical. Our senses, which have been limited to physical senses, are able to function in their own broader capacities. This is covered in detail in “Higher Senses”.

See “Higher Sense Perception” in higher-sense-perception.php as a whole, and specifically “Understanding Immersive Perception” in higher-sense-perception.php.

The Nature of Time

The Dimensions of Time

Physical Time

Physical time is just another dimension, but one we have a unique relationship with.

From a higher-dimensional perspective, all of physical time exists at once, just as all of the physical spatial dimensions (width, height, and depth) exist at once. We can’t see it all since we are within the 4 physical dimensions: width-depth-height-time. While we can generally move freely in space, our experience of physical time is restricted to a steady linear movement through the dimension of time (the now) while leaving a memory-trace behind. Within a physical body, we perceive the now and remember the past to some degree, but cannot perceive the future.

As Hyperspace theory shows, time is just another dimension. It can be transformed into a spatial dimension mathematically as shown in the consolidated Maxwell equations.

TO DO: explain this!

Physical Timelines (Probable Realities)

There is a second dimension to linear physical time: timelines, or probable realities. This would be considered the 2nd physical dimension of time, and the 5th physical dimension overall. Unlike the progression of time, timelines are a dimension we can’t perceive all in the physical. We perceive ourselves moving only through a single timeline.

To understand timelines, we can reduce the first four physical dimensions (width-depth-height-time) into a 1-dimensional line. This line represents the entire timeline of a physical universe. Expand this line to a plane, and we have a sea of timelines weaving in and out of each other. These are also known as probable realities or the many-worlds model of the universe.

Now consider the inner origins of the universe and the microgeny. There isn’t actually a beginning or an end — the entire timeline is an ever-changing now. One that is gradually “perfected” by the higher consciousnesses (intelligences) operating at frequencies outside of time and space, informing those living within it to the extent that they are open to it.

Imagine physical reality’s probable reality timeline view as a vast frozen world. Endless consciousnesses are moving across the timescape, the heat of their attention melting down the frozen timelines and making changes across timelines (probable realities). They are operating simultaneously at different points in physical time through the now. This is the work of perfecting the physical reality of earth. Each consciousness adds heat, makes better choices, and improves timelines.

Psychological Time

Psychological time is one of the dimensions of consciousness. We can travel in psychological time alongside physical time or move in other directions entirely, causing physical time to appear to move relatively more quickly or slowly. Psychological time doesn’t need to intersect with physical time at all.

Consciousness only pretends to bow to the idea of time. At other levels it enjoys playing with such concepts and perceiving great unity from events that occur outside a time context. (Roberts 286)SSchanneled • modern • Seth

Two Truths: Simultaneity and Progressive Time

There are two truths. At the Source, all time (both psychological and physical) is simultaneous. Everything is one. The Source begins to flow as psychological time comes into existence. This psychological time allows it to flow, to move, to change. As it flows outward through the microgeny, through all the frequency domains, it comes at last to the physical, and here it builds up the dimensions of physical space and physical time.

What is important here is that communication occurs through the Source. By returning to the Source through psychological time, any consciousness can merge with it, then bring back any information it was seeking. This allows us to change course in physical time, leading to the creation of timelines, of probable realities in which a better, more informed path is chosen. Timelines, then, are created through the activity of a consciousness gaining information from and in essence being guided by the whole, the Source.

This is discussed in more detail in “The Development of the Reincarnating Self” in reincarnation.php.

The Now of the Source

At the core of reality, Einstein said, linear time evaporates completely, pooling out like a stream overflowing its banks. (Chopra 299)ABTMresearcher • modern • Chopra

Wilbur: “All of Eternity is wholly and completely present at every point of time. To the eye of Eternity, there is no then, either past or future.” (Friedman 112)BS&Sresearcher • modern • Friedman

The “Eternal Now” is the state . . . in which “everything is everywhere and always,” that is, in which every point of space touches every point of time. (Ouspensky 429)ANMUpsychedelic • Theosophy • Ouspensky

[Time] is but a limitation of this lower consciousness, and all that we call time—past, present and future alike—is ‘but one eternal Now’. (Leadbeater 31-32)Dclairvoyant • Theosophy • Leadbeater

The “past” races of men live to that extent within your Now, as do those who will seemingly come after. (Roberts 295)UR2channeled • modern • Seth

In much more limited terms your probable realities are multiple presents. The image, for an analogy, of an eye within an eye within an eye, endlessly repeated, may be useful here. (Roberts 236)SSchanneled • modern • Seth

Physical Time Is Simultaneous from Outside

Just as psychological time is simultaneous within the Source, physical time can be simultaneous from within psychological time, depending on our focus.

Our higher selves exist outside of the 5 dimensions of the physical universe. From that perspective, the physical universe looks very different — space, time, and timelines (probable realities) can be easily accessed. Time and timelines can be traversed. We are able to see our whole lifetime, from birth to death, at once.

It is often said that from that perspective physical time is simultaneous. Physical time can be entered and exited at will.

“Time” is not a continuum. It is an element of relativity. . . .

Each element [of time] is separate and distinct, yet existing simultaneously with the other. . . . As much as there will ever be—as much as there ever was. . . .

BOOM, here it is—right here, right now—ALL OF IT! (Walsch 28-29)CWG2channeled • modern • Walsch

[All of your (Our) experiences] are overlapping—that is, happening at the same “time”—you simply don’t know this. You’ve placed yourself in a perception shell that blocks out the Total Reality. (Walsch 52)CWG3channeled • modern • Walsch

We are time blind.

Everything that is said of time above can also be said of space.

There is no “time” but now. There is no “place” but here.

Here and now is All There Is. (Walsch 62)CWG3channeled • modern • Walsch

To consciousness, there is only here and now. When our attention is focused in the present moment, we are joined with the greater, shared, objective here and now of new experience. But consciousness may also be focused on echoes of the past, reliving and being influenced by past experiences. At these times, those past experiences become the here and now of consciousness. Our attention is turned inward, a position from which change cannot happen.

Time Outside the Physical

Outside the physical, we move forward within our own psychological time. This is very much like physical time in that the future cannot be seen, but it is not connected to physical time. Within psychological time, we can jump about within physical time if we want to.

Case 23:

Dr. N: Do past, present, and future have any relevance for souls living in the spirit world?

Measuring Time Through Changes in State

Swedenborg has a concept of internal “states”, roughly equivalent to frequencies of consciousness. A higher state or frequency comes from attention being more turned towards the Source, while a lower one comes from being turned towards the lesser self, or the past.

There is a succession and a progression of all things in heaven, as in the world. . . .

In heaven instead of years and days there are changes of state. (Swedenborg 118)H&HOBEr • Christianity • Swedenborg

These differences in state (frequency of consciousness) are the nonphysical equivalent of physical space or distance:

In the spiritual world the only ground of distance is difference in the state of interiors, thus in the heavens difference in the states of love, those who differ much being far apart, and those who differ but little being but little apart, and likeness causing them to be together. (Swedenborg 33)H&HOBEr • Christianity • Swedenborg

Interacting with Physical Time from Outside It

From outside the physical universe, all of physical time and space is open to perception. Whereas the position of our body determines what we see in the physical, association and personal relevance determines what times and places of the physical universe we see when focusing there.

While I am not affected by time on your plane, I am affected by something resembling time on my plane. . . . To me time can be manipulated, used at leisure and examined. To me your time is a vehicle, one of several by which I can enter your awareness. It is therefore still a reality of some kind to me. Otherwise I could not utilize it in any way whatsoever. (Roberts 475)UR2channeled • modern • Seth

Seth’s relationship with time is similar to the way we can interact with videos. Time can be played forward, paused, rewound, and played forward again. His psychological time can move freely both within and outside physical time.

B.G.: How do you spend your time now?

Mr. O.: Time, time, time! Well, we’re not conscious of time. Time does not mean anything to us. By coming back to you we’re conscious of time to some extent. People say ‘Oh well, I’m sure so-and-so will come and speak because it’s his birthday.’ Well, we couldn’t care less in a sense about birthdays. In fact we probably wouldn’t even remember it was our birthday if it were not for the fact that we pick up the idea or the thought from the consciousness of the individual near and dear to us on earth.GOCchanneled • modern • Flint

Gateways into Physical Time

The astral is the nonphysical plane closest to the physical, and remains lightly bound to physical time. While there are no nonphysical signs of the movement of physical time such as the cycles of day and night or the changing seasons, it is still accessible should one choose to open a “window” there. The higher our frequency rises, the more distant this connection becomes.

Case 23:

Dr. N: Since we live in a space with time limitations, how can the spirit world itself be timeless?

S: Because here we live in non-space which is timeless . . . except in certain zones. . . . They are . . . interconnecting doors . . . openings for us to pass through into a physical universe of time. . . . The openings exist as thresholds between realities. (Newton 194)JoShypnosis • modern • Newton

What happens is that one enters into physical time between two moments of physical time.

Different Organizations of Experience

At higher frequencies of consciousness outside the physical universe, we begin to perceive a different kind of order. We move beyond physical time and space as a primary organization of events. Instead, we may experience an order based on similarity, by groupings of objects and events. This happens as our focus on physical time and space becomes less important, and the similarities of events at two distinct times and places becomes more obvious to us. The similar event becomes primary, rather than its separate occurrences in time and space. This is mind further up the stream than we are now, experiencing a world of much less separation.

In the following, Seth explains higher-dimensional events called “master events”, and describes both how they appear outside the physical universe, and how they might appear within it. It reveals much about how one’s experience is mentally organized outside physical time and space.

Master events are those whose main activity takes place in inner dimensions. Such events are too multidimensional to appear clearly in your reality, so that you see or experience only parts of them. They are source events. Their main thrust is in what you can call the vaster dimensions of dreams, the unknown territory of inner reality. . . . Those events then “subsequently” show themselves in time and space, with extraordinary results. (Roberts 372-373)

Time overlays are versions of master events, in that they occur in such a fashion that one “face” of an overall event may appear in one time, one in another, and so forth. . . .

Mental associations at any given time may put you in correspondence with other events of a similar nature. . . . It is truer to say that those similar events are instead time versions of one larger event. As a rule you experience only one time version of any given action. . . .

Time overlays present you with a picture in which you have free will—yet each event that you choose will have its own time version. . . .

Such a time version suggests an occurrence in time, of course, and yet the event may leave only a ghostly track, so to speak, being hardly manifest, while in another life the time version may be of considerable prominence—while in your own experience it represents a fairly trivial incident of an ordinary afternoon.

The inner core of events, however, is held together by just that kind of activity. (Roberts 428-430)DEVF2channeled • modern • Seth

What Seth is referring to is a higher-dimensional event appearing in different lower-dimensional times and places. This could also be understood as a different organization of experience. In fact, it is both — it is a higher-dimensional mental conception of a type of event.

In the physical, we often organize and categorize things by spatial and temporal properties. We think in terms of “what happened this year” or “where we can find food”.

But to consciousness focused outside the physical universe, where any time and place are instantly accessible, a different organization becomes more meaningful. Instead, things are organized by feeling and by similarity. Seth’s idea of “master events” is a reorganization of events outside of time and space. The mental conception of events then becomes the primary reality. From that perspective, similar events would be understood as one event appearing separately in different times and places. “The Rise of the Dictator” would be the master event, for example, with different occurrences throughout time and across the world being “faces” of it.

If you gained your sense of personal continuity through associative processes primarily, rather than as a result of the familiarity of self moving through time, then you would experience physical reality in an entirely different fashion. Objects from past and present could be perceived at once, their presence justified through associative connections. Say that your father throughout his lifetime has eight favorite chairs . . . you would perceive all of these chairs at one time; or seeing one, you would be aware of the others. (Roberts 27)SSchanneled • modern • Seth

Many similar things could be perceived as one, and related concepts could be followed by a train of association. Consciousness follows paths of associations.

Events which down here take place in succession and at widely-separated places, appear there to be occurring simultaneously and at the same point. That at least is the effect produced on the consciousness of the ego NOTE: reincarnating self. (Leadbeater 7-8)DPclairvoyant • Theosophy • Leadbeater

What separates events is not time, but your perception. You perceive events “one at a time.” Time as it appears to you is, instead, a psychic organization of experience. The seeming beginning and end of an event; the seeming birth and death, are simply other dimensions of experience. (Roberts 313)SSchanneled • modern • Seth

Seth, existing outside the physical universe, does not perceive time or space as separating events. He organizes reality by association and similarity. In the physical, our organization of events by time is just another way to organize experience — one less real and meaningful to Seth.

During Susan’s OBE, her perspective is from her nonphysical self, outside the primary organizations of physical time and space:

Watkins: “This was a ‘real’ place that had been somehow going on for years beneath my sensual awareness. I tried to recall my waking days in a logical sequence, but there didn’t seem to be one—or if there were, it was hidden beneath another kind of sequence that swirled in and around itself, having nothing to do with the march of days and weeks; and yet, this was the stuff I built my notion of time upon.” (Watkins 607)CWSchanneled • modern • Seth

The Linear Experience of Time

Why Do We Experience Time Linearly?

All of it has already happened. Every possibility exists as fact, as completed events. . . .

All the endings already exist. The universe is just waiting to see which one you choose this time. (Walsch 107-108)CWG3channeled • modern • Walsch

Aside from the obvious question of free will (covered below), another question arises.

If all of time is already written, why can we not see what is coming? In fact, we can’t see the past either — we can only perceive our memories — our recorded experiences of it, which can change significantly over time. Perception and experience can only happen in the present moment.

The answer is that this time-blind perspective is a requirement for our experience and growth via physical world experiences.

“I get the feeling that I was once the peasant farmer and that Treenie was once Ellen.”

“To be accurate, what you experienced is happening. Yes, you are the farmer and Treenie is Ellen. . . .

“[Lifetimes] all occupy the same no-time framework together. Who you are—Self NOTE: the reincarnating self—experiences all the life cycles of your individual identities simultaneously. However, for this to have real meaning for the identities who you believe yourself to be, each life cycle is experienced in a linear procession, thus creating the illusion of time. To be fair, time is valid for a physical, three-dimensional reality. (Roads 105)IaTROBEr, LDer • modern • Roads

Moments as you understand them are like waves experienced as “particles”—as small bubbles, for example, each one breaking and another forming. (Roberts 450)UR2channeled • modern • Seth

In the large picture, everything is simultaneous—the interrelationships of the various levels of our inner reality are not governed by time. “Now” is a higher reality than time. . . . These interrelating levels of reality include our previous (and potential future) cycles NOTE: incarnations. Although our spark experiences them progressively, they also exist simultaneously. Free Will via Timelines (Probable Realities)

If all of time is already written, where does free will come into play?

After inhaling nitrous while on LSD, I found myself staring into a pattern that decided my behavior, has always decided my behavior, and determined everything that has ever happened. I lost myself for a moment into the loop, saw it move forward frame by frame, spinning out of a spiral fractal-like pattern. There was no choice — only destiny.

If we came to believe that the future is already written, we would fall into chaos. There is a great short story about this called “What’s Expected of Us” in the anthology Exhalation by Ezra Chiang.

Physical reality is not deterministic because all of our various selves across time influence each other and the paths we choose to take. Our free will comes into play through probable realities — the 5th physical dimension. Should we live our life without any attention, we would follow a single deterministic timeline, our higher consciousness not making any difference. It would simply be an existing experience, lived through by our consciousness.

But if, through the addition of our higher-dimensional attention, we make choices informed by our higher intelligence, we change our fate and move into a different timeline (probable reality). Any time we allow ourselves to be guided by our higher self, we change our fate.

That higher self exists outside the physical universe, and is thus not constrained in its perception. It can see and hear across any distance, time, and timelines. It can directly communicate with all the parts of itself spread out across space and time within the physical universe. Through this communication, our higher-dimensional influence has the ability to alter our path across probable realities.

Portions of [the entity] NOTE: reincarnating self, having been actualized in three-dimensional existence, now add to the very quality and nature of that existence. . . . The soul or entity then gives breath to the body, and to the three-dimensional self within it. The three-dimensional self then goes about its purpose of opening up new areas of creativity.

Entities or souls, in other words, send out portions of themselves to open up avenues of reality that would not exist otherwise. . . . An inner awareness gives them a source of energy and strength. (Roberts 53-54)SSchanneled • modern • Seth

Physics: Deterministic System, Free Action

The science of Chaos shows that while a system overall can be deterministic, individual parts within it cannot be predicted. Physics, meet metaphysics:

Farmer said, “On a philosophical level, [the phenomenon of chaos] struck me as an operational way to define free will, in a way that allowed you to reconcile free will with determinism. The system is deterministic, but you can’t say what it’s going to do next.” (Gleick 251)Chaosscientific • modern • Gleick

In fact, in the section on Chaos, we will see how influences from the microscales — further up the stream near the Source — can reach our consciousness, leading to changes in the direction of our lives. These influences come through the inner channels of consciousness in the form of love, energy, and knowledge.

See “Chaos and Higher Orders” in flow-into-us.php, “How the Source Speaks To Us” in flow-into-us.php, and “Overcoming Physical Determinism” in reincarnation.php.

Cross-Time Influences

Our free will comes into play as we interact with and change timelines. This takes place at the timelines (probable realities) level of the physical universe.

Many of us have had experiences of averting disaster due to a strong intuitive feeling we had. That is a communication from the version of ourselves who experienced that disaster, who at a higher level made a connection across time to ourselves approaching it, and which caused us to take a different path.

Higher dimensional movements cause changes in our destiny. We are often stationary in our timeline. By moving in the 5th dimension, through our attention, we alter our fate.

See “Precognitive Experiences” in higher-sense-perception.php for some examples of this, including my own. This is also discussed in terms of reincarnation in “Cross-Time Influences” in reincarnation.php.

Our present life is not only affected by our past lives but by our future lives as well. . . . If we understand that all the reincarnational lives are actually aspects of one entity, then the whole self is changed by all of its comprehensions. Yet paradoxically, each life is unique, and independent, and determines its own destiny even after it leaves our earthly time line. (Friedman 164)BS&Sresearcher • modern • Friedman

Walsch: “If everything has already happened, then it follows that I am powerless to change your future. Is this predestination?”

No! Don’t buy into that! . . .

If you “see” a future event or experience you do not like, don’t choose it! . . .

It has not happened to you—yet! You are at a place in the Space-Time Continuum where you are not consciously aware of the occurrence. . . . You have not “remembered” your future!

(This forgetfulness is the secret of all time. It is what makes it possible for you to “play” the great game of life!)

A thing “happens” only when it is “experienced.” . . .

If you don’t like what you “sense” about your “future,” step away from that! . . . In that instant you change your experience—and everyone of You breathes a sigh of relief! . . .

There is only one of you, but you are much larger than you think!

Walsch: “So when the ‘me’ that exists ‘now’ changes something he doesn’t like about his ‘future’, the ‘me’ that exists in the ‘future’ no longer has that as part of his experience?”

Essentially yes. The whole mosaic changes. But he never loses the experience he’s given himself. He’s just relieved and happy that “you” don’t have to go through that.

Walsch: “But the ‘me’ in the ‘past’ has yet to ‘experience’ this, so he walks right into it?”

In a sense, yes. But, of course, “you” can help “him”. . . .

First, by changing what “you” in front of you experienced, the “you” behind you may never have to experience it! It is by this device that your soul evolves.

In the same way, the future you got help from his own future self, thus helping you avoid what he did not. . . .

You are . . . able to divide your Self into as many different “selves” as you choose.

You can live the “same life” over and over again, in different ways—as I’ve just explained. And you can also live different lives at different “times” on the Continuum. . . .

A part of you is choosing to know yourself as your presently-experienced identity. Yet this is by far not the limit of your Being, although you think that it is. . . .

You must think that it is, or you cannot do what you’ve given yourself this life to do. . . .

You are an Eternal Moment of Self creation and Self fulfillment through the process of Self expression. . . .

This process of creation and recreation is ongoing, never ending, and multi-layered. It is all happening “right now” and on many levels. . . .

You are living this life, your presently realized life, in your Past, your Present, your Future, all at once! . . . [Premonition] is simply an awareness you suddenly have of something you’ve just experienced in your “future”.

Your “future you” is saying, “Hey, this was no fun. Don’t do this!”

You are also living other lives—what you call “past lives”—right now as well. . . . It would be very difficult for you to play this wonderful game of life if you had full awareness of what is going on. . . . The Process depends on the Process being complete, as it is—including your lack of total awareness at this stage. . . .

It is all contained in a single truth: THERE IS ONLY ONE OF US. (Walsch 63-68)

Do you imagine that the future is predictable—even by God? I tell you this: Your future is creatable. . . .

Walsch: “But You said everything that’s going to happen already has happened—is happening now.”

That is true. But the Eternal Moment of Now is also forever changing. It is like a mosaic—one that is always there, but constantly shifting. You can’t blink, because it will be different when you open your eyes again. Watch! Look! See? There it goes again!

I AM CONSTANTLY CHANGING.

Walsch: “What makes you change?”

Your idea about me! Your thought about all of it is what makes it change—instantly.

Sometimes the change in the All is subtle, virtually indiscernible, depending upon the power of the thought. But when there is an intense thought—or a collective thought—then there is tremendous impact, incredible effect.

Everything changes. (Walsch 235-236)CWG2channeled • modern • Walsch

Neither future nor past is predetermined. From your platform of poised now-experience, you alter both the past and the future, and that alteration, that change, that action, causes your point of immediate sense life. (Roberts 61)URchanneled • modern • Seth

What an idea — that your past is not predetermined! It can be changed! That change is made by the process of cross-time communication Walsch wrote about above.

“I assume that this is Earth’s future.”

“Not really. The scene you gaze upon is neither past nor future; it is this moment. . . . The past and future are different frames in the Greater Reality of Now.” . . .

“The giants?” . . .

“That is your past, yet it is also a continuity in a different frame of Now. . . .

“As you change in the moment, growing in consciousness both individually and as a people, so you alter the future and the past. All time occupies the same space. However, within this timelessness, there are infinite frames of reality. No frame is free from the effect of the eternal Now. Your Now can affect and change their Now.” (Roads 192-193)IaTROBEr, LDer • modern • Roads

Every consciousness brings its own “now” with it. It’s the focus of attention in psychological time. It’s that focus of attention that can change our destiny.

Changing the Past

Those communications into the past that lead to a new choice, that lead to the avoidance of disaster, spark a new individuality in the past — a you which made a more informed decision. This “new” branch taken in the timeline is a fresh, new experience for the greater self existing outside the physical universe.

In certain terms, for instance, I am a future of Ruburt, but the “past” is always freshly creative. Ruburt’s life as he knows it is not in my memory—because I did different things when I was Ruburt. And he is not bound by that reality that was mine.

I have memories of being Ruburt—but the Ruburt I was is not the Ruburt that Ruburt is in his reality. He surprises me, and his reactions alter my past. In his terms I am a future self, with far greater knowledge, yet he uses that knowledge to alter his present reality; and when I was Ruburt I did not have that knowledge. You can say then that I am altering my own past, but Ruburt’s present experience also changes my present experience—and so there is an unending interchange. (Roberts 513)

Ruburt can do many things that surprise me—that I did not do in my past, for remember that fresh creativity emerges from the past also. . . .

Ruburt will be a different Seth than I am. (Roberts 726-727)UR2channeled • modern • Seth

The entire physical universe from its origin to end can be seen as existing in one higher-dimensional now. From that higher perspective, the entire universe and all its time can be seen as a single “object” that is slowly and continuously changing its “shape” due to those inner connections. Through that now it is always changing, the future affecting the past, the ancient past affecting the distant future. Through that now we can touch any other part of the entire span of physical time and space. The knowledge gained in that way changes the course of things, changes the shape of physical reality.

The entire physical universe is in a state of gradual self-perfection. Jane’s (Ruburt’s) experiences with Seth changed her timeline and is writing over it with a new one in which she knows much more through her interactions with Seth and had a larger effect on the world through her books. It’s as if the entire physical universe is leaking knowledge into itself, which causes the entire thing to gradually improve.

The higher frequency domains are much more porous, more interconnected, and thus much further along towards that perfection. The higher the frequency (the closer to the Source), the more perfect, the more everyone is acting as one and working with flawless, perfect knowledge. This is true at any (faintly) corresponding point in physical time, though the relationship to physical time quickly evaporates the higher we go.

Following this analogy, the physical universe coalesces at a point where the energy from the Source is relatively closed and leaks relatively little knowledge, making progress from cross-time communication slower.

“The me that is here, now, can influence the identity of the past?” . . .

“On other levels of Self, you acted, bringing a solution into the lives of those you were involved with. You were able to do this because of the paradox of time. What was happening or will happen is happening now. Because of this, the past and the future are always accessible in the present moment. You accessed the past, and brought about change. Only you could do this. I don’t have permission to alter your life; neither does anyone else.” (Roads 117)IaTROBEr, LDer • modern • Roads

The Inner Origin of the Multiverse (Seth)

From Seth’s position outside the physical universe, he can clearly see the nature of our reality.

The Inner Origin of the Multiverse

The following is a “chronological” account of the creation of the greater spiritual reality through the microgeny. All of this is happening again and again at an incredibly fast rate in the ever-renewing infinite now. This is incredibly good and important.

All That Is — Imagination Creating Worlds

Seth introduces the concept of “All That Is” as the creative source of the universe. It has imagination, it reacts, it creates, it changes. It is a “divine subjectivity”. As the Source itself is unchanging, All That Is must come from a region in time near the Source.

I will try to arouse within your own consciousnesses memories of events with which your own inner psyches were intimately involved as the world was formed—and though these may appear to be past events, they are even now occurring.

Before the beginning of the universe, we will postulate the existence of an omnipotent, creative source. . . . This divine subjectivity is as present in the world of your experience as it was before the beginning of the universe. . . .

All That Is, before the beginning contained within itself the infinite thrust of all possible creations. All That Is possessed a creativity of such magnificence that its slightest imaginings, dreams, thoughts, feelings or moods attained a kind of reality, a vividness, an intensity, that almost demanded freedom. . . .

The experience, the subjective universe, the “mind” of All That Is, was so brilliant, so distinct, that All That Is almost became lost, mentally wandering within this ever-flourishing, ever-growing interior landscape. Each thought, feeling, dream, or mood was itself indelibly marked with all of the attributes of this infinite subjectivity. Each glowed and quivered with its own creativity, its own desire to create as it had been created.

Before the beginning there existed an interior universe that had no beginning or ending. . . . (That same infinite interior universe exists now. . . .)

All That Is contained within itself the knowledge of all existences, with their infinite probabilities, and “as soon as” All That Is imagined those numberless circumstances, they existed in what I will call divine fact. (Roberts 127-128)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

Its imagination is so powerful that whatever it imagines is created, and every being it imagines contains the same creativity and desire for experience that it has. These are higher-dimensional projections created by its attention becoming what it imagines.

In a manner of speaking, it is true to say that the universe was created in the same fashion that your own thoughts and dreams happen: spontaneously and yet with a built-in amazing order, and an inner organization. (Roberts 219)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

Our own thoughts are that very same light of attention projecting out into forms.

Your universe is not the only one. . . .

Your universe and all others spring from a dimension that is the creative source for all realities—a basic dream universe, so to speak, a divine psychological bed where subjective being is sparked, illuminated, stimulated, pierced, by its own infinite desire for creativity. The source of its power is so great that its imaginings become worlds, but it is endowed with a creativity of such splendor that it seeks the finest fulfillment, for even the smallest of its thoughts and all of its potentials are directed with a good intent that is literally beyond all imagining. (Roberts 215-216)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

This seeking of the “finest fulfillment” with “good intent” is our desire to improve and perfect that which we have created, through our interaction with timelines.

This imagination comes through the higher frequencies into the lower, through the astral (dream) world, before breaking upon the shore of the physical universe. This process is explained in “Physical Reality out of Dreams” below.

The Physical Universe as the Source’s Thought-Forms

When the fluent matter was thus held in particular forms you would have concrete matter just as we know it now, only with this difference, that it would return to its fluent state as soon as the supporting will was withdrawn. Now, as we shall see later on, this is precisely what matter really is, only the will which holds it together in concrete form is not individual but cosmic. (Troward 6)CPitIwisdom • New Thought • Troward

Physical matter is a cosmic thought form! This touches so many things. As Seth says above, the imaginings of All That Is produce worlds. The unceasing flow from the Source sustains these creations like vortexes in a river. Should that river cease to flow, those vortexes would stop spinning and return to their fluid form.

Collectively considered, the Sangsara NOTE: the external universe itself is for the yogin merely a complex thought-form, which has emanated from and is being sustained by the One Mind. (Dvagpo-Lharje 282)TYSDwisdom • Tibetan • Dvagpo-Lharje

As smaller centers of The Source, we produce thought forms in the same way, though they are far lesser in power and duration.

Creative Creations Interact with All That Is

Consider the imaginings of All That Is as thoughts in a vast, powerfully creative mind that forms the source of all reality. Its imaginings are so potent with its own energy that the beings imagined begin thinking their own thoughts.

The thoughts, for example, of All That Is were not simply thoughts as you might have, but multidimensional mental events of superlative nature. . . . They yearned to create as they had been created, and All That Is, in a kind of divine perplexity, nevertheless realized that this had always been its own intent.

All That Is realized that such a separation would also allow you to bring about a different kind of divine art, in which the creators themselves created, and their creations created, bringing into actuality existences that were possible precisely because there would seem to be a difference between the creator and the creations. . . .

Yet each smallest portion of consciousness can uniquely create, bring into being, eccentric versions of All That Is, that in certain terms All That Is, without that separation, could not otherwise create. The loving support, the loving encouragement of the slightest probable consciousness and manifestation—that is the intent of All That Is.

All That Is knows that even this purpose is a portion of a larger purpose. In terms of time, the realization of that purpose will emerge with another momentous explosion of subjective inspiration into objectivity, or into another form. In deeper terms, however, that purpose is also known now, and to one extent or another the entire universe dreams of it, as once cellular consciousness dreamed of the organs that it might “form”. Dreaming from the Smallest Consciousness Upwards

Seth’s reference to “energy” below is equivalent to “consciousness.”

Energy is above all things infinitely creative, innovative, original. Energy is imaginative. . . . I am not assigning human traits to energy. Instead, your human traits are the result of energy’s characteristics. . . . Space as you think of it is, in your terms, filled with invisible particles. They are the unstated portion of physical reality, the unmanifest medium in which your world exists. . . .

In the beginning [atoms and molecules] imagined the myriad of forms that were physically possible. They imagined the numberless cells that could arise from their own cooperative creation. Energy is boundless. It is exuberant. It knows no limits. In those terms, the atoms dreamed the cells into physical being—and from that new threshold of physical activity cellular consciousness dreamed of the myriad organizations that could emerge from this indescribable venture. (Roberts 137-138)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

Particles dream molecules, cells dream organs, and people dream worlds, all simultaneously from the inside outwards. The end result is inherent in the parts growing towards it.

The Creative Fulfillment of All Potential

Each portion of energy is endowed with an inbuilt reach of creativity that seeks to fulfill its own potentials in all possible variations—and in such a way that such a development also furthers the creative potentials of each other portion of reality. (Roberts 138)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

We imagine what we could be, and that image draws us to it.

Physical Reality out of Dreams

The physical multiverse continually comes into being through the microgeny. In every moment, the flow from the Source makes its way through all the frequency domains, from infinitely fast through progressively slower domains into the astral or dream state and then into the physical. Each higher frequency domain is the source of the one below it. The dream state is then the origin of the physical. In each moment, the physical universe is formed/sustained after the energy of consciousness passes through the dream state.

According to Seth, at earlier stages in the long-term perfection of physical reality, it had not yet stabilized. It was still in a state of flux, of fluid experimentation in the dream state, which still formed our primary focus. The physical world is the new “theater” we were creating for our experience. All individual consciousnesses oriented in this direction were working together to fulfill their many individual and related goals.

[The inner reality] is not only as valid as the exterior one, but it is the origin for it. It is that world that offers you answers, solutions, and would reveal many of the blueprints that exist behind the world of your experience. (Roberts 182)URchanneled • modern • Seth

Life in the Dream State

The consciousness of each reader of this book existed before the universe was formed (in your terms) but that consciousness was unmanifest. Your closest approximation—and it is an approximation only—of the state of being that existed before the universe was formed is the dream state. In that state before the beginning, your consciousness existed free of space and time, aware of immense probabilities. (Roberts 121)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

While men had their dream bodies alone they enjoyed a remarkable freedom, of course, for those bodies did not have to be fed or clothed. They did not have to operate under the law of gravity. . . . They knew themselves to be themselves, but their identities were not as closely allied with their forms. (Roberts 222)

Large sections of these books are dedicated to understanding life in the dream state. Most directly, see “The Nature of Dreams” in nature-of-dreams.php.

Dream Reality Moves into the Physical

In the beginning, then, there was a subjective world that became objective. Matter was not yet permanent, in your terms, for consciousness was not yet as stable there.

In the beginning, then, there was a dream world, in which consciousness formed a dream of physical reality, and gradually became awake within that world.

Mountains rose and tumbled. Oceans filled. Tidal waves thundered. Islands appeared. The seasons themselves were not stable. In your terms the magnetic fields themselves fluctuated—but all of the species were there at the beginning, though in the same fashion, for as the dream world broke through into physical reality there was all of the tumultuous excitement and confusion with which a mass creative event is achieved. There was much greater plasticity, motion, variety, give-and-take, as consciousness experimented with its own forms. The species and environment together formed themselves in concert, in glorious combination, so that each fulfilled the requirements of its own existence while adding to the fulfillment of all other portions of physical reality. (Roberts 157)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

Playful Experimentation with Forms

There was in the beginning an almost unimaginable time in which energized consciousness, using its own creative abilities, its own imagination, experimented with triumphant rambunctiousness, trying out one form after another. In the terms you are used to thinking of, nothing was stable. Consciousness as you think of it turned into matter, and then into pure energy and back again. . . .

NOTE: This is the reality in the higher realms, which are just riding further up on the stream.

Individualized consciousness was also somewhat homesick, and returned often to the family homestead—but gradually gained confidence and left finally to form a [universe]. (Roberts 138)

In a fashion, creative play is your human version of far greater characteristics from which your universe itself was formed. . . .

Creativity is playful. . . . It always surfaces when [Ruburt] allows his mind to drop its worries. (Roberts 148)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

In the beginning, physical space had the qualities that dream space has to you now. It seemed to have a more private nature and only gradually, in those terms, did it become publicly shared. (Roberts 165)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

When I speak of the dream world, I am not referring to some imaginary realm, but to the kind of world of ideas, of thoughts, of mental actions, out of which all form as you think of it emerges. In actuality this is an inner universe rather than an inner world. Your physical reality is but one materialization of that inner organization. All possible civilizations exist first in that realm of inner mind.

In the beginning, then, the species did not have the kinds of forms they do now. They had pseudoforms NOTE: thought forms—dream bodies, if you prefer—and they could not physically reproduce themselves. Their experience of time was entirely different, and in the beginning the entire earth operated in a kind of dream time. In your terms, this meant that time could be quickened, or lengthened. It was a kind of psychological time. . . .

Forms appeared and disappeared. . . . For a while, then, the earth had a mixed population of species who had completely taken on physical forms, and species who had not. The forms, however, whether physical or not, were complete in themselves. Birds were birds, and fish fish.

In the beginning there were also species of various other kinds: combinations of man-animal and animal-man, and many other “crossbreed” species, some of fairly long duration in your terms. This applies to all areas. There were dream trees, with dream foliage, that gradually became aware within that dream, turning physical, focusing more and more in physical reality, until their dream seeds finally brought forth physical trees. (Roberts 159-160)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

Understood from the microgeny, this was a time when we were focused slightly further up the stream. It could be understood as the past in terms of timelines as we commonly understand it, the microgeny having changed its shape over time to what it is now.

The entities, or units of consciousness—those ancient fragments that burst into objectivity from the vast and infinite psychological realms of All That Is—dared all, for they joyfully abandoned themselves in space and time. They created new psychological entities, opened up an area of divine creativity that “until then” had been closed, and therefore to that [degree] extended the experience and immense existence of All That Is. . . . In those terms All That Is became physical also. (Roberts 201)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

Numerous ancient traditions speak of a time when the hologram of physical reality was much more plastic than it is now, much more like the amorphous and fluid reality of the afterlife dimension. For example, the Australian aborigines say that there was a time when the entire world was dreamtime. (Talbot 299)HUscientific, researcher • modern • Talbot

Waking Consciousness Arises from Dream Consciousness

The waking state as you think of it is a specialized extension of the dream state, and emerges from it to the surface of your awareness. . . .

The waking state, then, has its source in the dream state, and all of the objects, environment, and experience that are familiar to you in the waking state also originate in that inner dimension. (Roberts 218-219)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

This is because the physical universe also originates from the dream state.

How Consciousness Forms Physical Matter

Now that we’ve seen how the vast intelligence and creativity of All That Is brings into being the universe at large, let’s look at how this happens on the smallest level.

The Emanations of Consciousness: EE Units

Seth’s EE Units refer to “electromagnetic energy units”.

Thought Forms, in Seth’s Terms

EE units are formed spontaneously from the electromagnetic reality of feelings emitted from each consciousness, as, for example, breath automatically goes out from the physical body.

EE units are, then, emanations from consciousness. The intensity of the thought or emotion determines the characteristics of the units themselves. As certain ranges are reached, they are propelled into physical actualization. Whether or not this occurs in your terms, they will exist as small matter particles—as, say, latent matter or pseudomatter NOTE: astral matter. . . .

You are not utterly unaware of the existence of some of these units, though you do not experience them as mass. You interpret some of them as events, dream events, so-called hallucinations; and sometimes certain ranges of these units are interpreted by you as movement-through-time.

All of them cast certain “atmospheric conditions” or reflections that color physical events as you know them. . . .

The physical brain is the mechanism by which thought or emotion is automatically formed into EE units of the proper range and intensity to be used by the physical organism. (Roberts 303-305)SSchanneled • modern • Seth

This hooks into so many other things — the thought or emotion causing the energy to come into being in pseudomatter (astral matter). The EE units are the ongoing expression / communication of the astral body every time it feels something.

This is highly simplified, but the subjective experience of any consciousness is automatically expressed as electromagnetic energy units. These exist “beneath” the range of physical matter. They are, if you prefer, incipient particles which have not yet emerged into matter. . . .

They very seldom exist in isolation, but unite under certain laws. They change both their form and their pulsation. Their relative “duration” depends on the emotional intensity behind them. . . .

Under certain conditions, these coagulate into matter. Those electromagnetic units of high enough intensity . . . are . . . accelerated and propelled into matter far more quickly . . . than units of lower intensity. Molecules would appear as large as planets to these units. Atoms and molecules and planets and these electromagnetic energy units are simply different manifestations of the same principles that bring the units themselves into being. . . .

Mental images, accompanied by strong emotion, are blueprints therefore upon which a corresponding physical object, or condition or event, will in your terms appear. . . .

The intensity is the core about which the electromagnetic energy unit forms. . . . The more intense the core, the sooner the physical manifestation. . . . If you are also of a highly pessimistic nature, given to thoughts and feelings of potential disaster, then these thoughts will be quite faithfully reproduced in experience. . . .

These emanations in varying degrees arise from all consciousness. . . . This includes cellular consciousness as well, so that an invisible network of electromagnetic units pervades your entire atmosphere; and upon this webwork and from it, the particles of physical matter are then formed. (Roberts 65-68)SSchanneled • modern • Seth

This is Seth’s conception of thought forms. Though I have difficulty with the idea of thought becoming matter, this is almost an acceptable version of that.

The microgeny is a good model, for higher frequency dimensions precede and support the lower in every moment. In this conception, of course thought precedes and forms matter, it being a higher frequency.

Like Attracts Like — Accumulating Towards Physicality

This law of attraction is precisely how the higher planes (frequency domains) work. This is “where” the thought-form ends up.

All thoughts congeal; all thoughts meet other thoughts, criss-crossing in an incredible maze of energy, forming an ever-changing pattern of unspeakable beauty and unbelievable complexity.

Like energy attracts like energy—forming “clumps” of energy of like kind. When enough similar “clumps” criss-cross each other—run into each other—they “stick to” each other. It takes an incomprehensibly huge amount of similar energy “sticking together,” thusly, to form matter. (Walsch 54)CWG1channeled • modern • Walsch

Materialized thought-forms attach themselves one to another, like drops of water in an ocean, and in their totality constitute external nature. (Dvagpo-Lharje 18)TYSDwisdom • Tibetan • Dvagpo-Lharje

Think of this as tiny knots welling up within the fabric of the void. These knots are a slightly denser form of the primordial energy. . . .

The Hindus call these points of focus bindu, the basic building block from which all things arise. . . .

While a point bindu itself may not have mass in itself, it attracts energies that give it mass, as lines of force get locked up in its vortex. These points then become attracted toward each other. As they collect, they form larger and denser bodies, gradually developing more mass, and hence, a stronger gravitational field. This can be seen as the nature of bindu to separate itself from the void by attracting to itself, thus gathering itself into larger bodies. (Judith 88-90)WoLiresearcher • modern • Judith

Emerging into Physical Reality

All phenomenal appearances occur when the basic units of consciousness, the CU’s, emerge into EE units, and hence into the dimensions of actuality in your terms. (Roberts 66)

From [CU’s] EE units are formed, and the first roots sent out into the world of physical matter. (Roberts 54)

[CU’s] move faster than the speed of light, then—but that statement itself is meaningless in a way, since the units exist outside as well as inside the framework in which light itself has meaning.

As [CU’s] approach physical structure, however, they do slow down in your terms. Electrons, for example, are slow dullards in comparison with EE units. . . . Units of consciousness are “mental” . . . disembodied, though from their inner organization all physical forms emerge. . . . These units form what you think of as the mind, around which the structure of the brain is formulated. (Roberts 59)URchanneled • modern • Seth

In the deepest terms, again, your physical world is beginning at each point at which these units of consciousness assert themselves to form physical reality. . . . Each unit of consciousness (or CU) intensifies, magnifies its own intent to be—and you might say, works up from within itself an explosive spark of primal desire that “explodes” into a process that causes physical materialization. It turns into what I have called [an] EE unit, in which case it is embarked upon its own kind of physical experience.

These EE units also operate as fields, as waves, or as particles, as the units of consciousness do—but in your terms they are closer to physical orientation. Their die is cast, so to speak: They have already begun the special kind of screening process necessary that will bring about physical form. . . . There are literally numberless steps taken before EE units combine in their own fashion to form the most microscopic physical particles, and even here the greatest, gentlest sorting-out process takes place as these units disentangle themselves at certain operational levels from their own greater fields of “information,” to specialize in the various elements that will allow for the production of atoms and molecules impeccably suited to your kind of world. (Roberts 176)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

The “Soul of God” . . . coalesces in a particular way to form those objects. . . .

As particles of energy join together to form physical matter, they become very concentrated. . . . They begin to “look like,” even “feel like,” distinct units. That is, they begin to seem “separate,” “different,” from all the other energy. Yet this is all the same energy, behaving differently.

It is this very act of behaving differently which makes it possible for That Which Is All to manifest as That Which Is Many. (Walsch 179)CWG3channeled • modern • Walsch

Exiting Physical Reality

No energy is ever lost. It may seem to disappear from one system, but if so, it will emerge in another. . . .

As CU’s leave your system, time is broken down. Its effects are no longer experienced as consecutive, and matter becomes more and more plastic until its mental elements become apparent. (Roberts 97)URchanneled • modern • Seth

On a CU’s way out of the physical universe it passes through the astral frequency domain, where matter is more fluid and responsive to thought. Once out of the physical, it is no longer constrained by physical time and space at all.

The Inner Structure Behind Physical Objects

Everything that is apparent three-dimensionally has an inside source, out of which its appearance springs. . . .

The cell as you understand it is but the cell’s three-dimensional face. . . . Before a cell as such makes its physical appearance there are “disturbances” in the spot in which the cell will later show itself. Those disturbances are the result of a slowing down of prior effects of faster-than-light activity, and represent the emergence into your space-time system of energy that can then be effectively used and formed into the cellular pattern.

The very slowing-down process itself helps “freeze” the activity into a form. At the death of a cell a reverse process occurs—the death is the escape of that energy from the cell form, its release, the release itself triggering certain stages of acceleration. . . . Such faster-than-light behavior, then, helps form the basis for the physical universe. This characteristic is an attribute of the CU’s, which have already slowed down to some extent when they form EE units. (Roberts 312-313)UR2channeled • modern • Seth

When your scientists examine [atoms and molecules] for example, they do not examine the nature, say, of an atom. They only explore the characteristics of an atom as it acts or shows itself within your system. Its greater reality completely escapes them. (Roberts 234)SSchanneled • modern • Seth

The Objective Field — Thoughts Influence Probabilities

Just how do our thoughts, emotions, and dreams influence the physical world on a day-to-day basis? Whatever we focus on makes impressions on a mental field that James called the objective field which lies just behind the physical universe.

This medium—the objective field—can be considered passive, in that it is willing to be impressed by mental stimuli. . . .

I am making this distinction for your convenience since you think of the objective field as separate and as a matter apart from mind, while matter is actually a manifestation of mind. . . .

Dream images therefore impress space-time too lightly for your waking neurological perception, and the objective field is filled with shapes impressed upon it by thought; but not strongly enough to be actualized. Such dream impressions do serve, however, as initial imprints, which incline the objective medium to take certain patterns over others, and serve to “prepare the ground” for later physical manifestation. Dream images and imaginative acts then prepare the way for physical ones, impressing large areas in general preshapes which are later “filled in.”

It’s as if the mind makes preliminary test patterns that are projections in space-time, but in a ghostly fashion. These dream images, however, are laid upon initial fields of probabilities, which are characteristics of the physical medium itself. Thusly, certain images will “take” better than others fitting within probability boundaries more easily, and possessing more of the many prerequisite conditions necessary for a fully materialized object or experienced event. Other such images will make scarcely any impression at all. . . .

The building blocks of matter are all “mental intensities”—nonphysical intensities—whose impressions must finally be sharp and powerful enough to form “knots of energy” which are interpreted as objects and events. . . .

The objective field, then, is a medium with the propensity for leaning toward objectivity; it accepts mental stimuli which imprint it—stamp it—and form it into the habitual grooves of nature’s shapes. It is manipulatable, gelatinlike, and composed of inclinations toward probable patterns upon which specifics ride. . . .

The intensity of emotions, desires, and intents everywhere rules, and is the primary consideration in the stiffening of probabilities into perceived events. Emotional states are characteristic of all consciousness. “States of feeling,” perhaps, explains better what I mean. . . . These states attract certain impressions or imprints and repel others. . . .

I can project my own mental images onto your objective field, for example, but they do not “take.” Instead, they will make the same kind of impression as your dream images do; they register but do not impress the medium enough to form a fully expressed physical actuality. (Roberts 109-110)AJoaAPchanneled • modern • James

This is important. It fits with Seth’s concept of reality emerging from consciousness through thoughts, emotions, and dreams. What we think of as objective physical reality is a probability field that is malleable, influenced by our thoughts and feelings. Our emotional projections, our desires, not only mix with the objective field to form our experience, but it effects the objective field itself, having a small effect on probabilities, pushing reality towards certain possible states over others.

It also fits with Leadbeater’s and Besant’s writings on the projection of mental images and thought forms. I think the “objective field” would be equivalent to their “elemental essence”. see “The Responsive Medium of Thought” in thoughts.php.

I also have come around towards “feeling” as being a better term than “emotion”. It is a sense. We feel the energy of emotions, like sound waves against our skin. Our choice of words often reveals deeper truths.

[I] can perceive the energy I sent out in directions that I did not take consciously. . . . After death, watching the tracks of one’s own influence is perhaps the most fascinating of endeavors. . . .

I could compare it to the tracking of a million lights simultaneously crisscrossing a night sky while a startled observer on earth watches hypnotized, dazzled, feeling each light’s distant flicker in the reaches of the universe, while at the same time knowing that each flicker . . . originated in his own thoughts and existed within them and in the sky simultaneously.

So are a person’s life tracks projected outward and so do they intersect with those of others, forming patterns of energy, causing new relationships, and triggering actions that never appear to earthly perceptions. (Roberts 120-121)AJoaAPchanneled • modern • James

Projections Outside the Objective Field

In dreams . . . consciousness allows itself greater freedom, not having to confine its experience to the strict rules of waking perception.

Here the mind or soul is seen as existing basically apart from the objective field of reality. (Roberts 107)AJoaAPchanneled • modern • James

I’ve written of this — how objective reality nails down our perceptions to specific forms. Without it, in dreams, our consciousness can experience whatever it likes without an objective field that could essentially disagree with its perceptions and projections. All experiences outside the body (in dreams, in OBEs, after physical death) have this freedom.

The dreams of the living make an equally imperfect connection with space-time, for example, also going off at a vertical angle, though in a gentler slope, so that the mental events only cause ripples in space-time, indicating or suggesting shapes in that medium while impressing it too lightly to affect the day’s practical reality. The “angle” of dream events is “off,” not as precise, so that dream events hit the space-time continuum in a slantwise fashion. (Roberts 108-109)AJoaAPchanneled • modern • James

Imagine the objective field as an all-pervading sea of bubble solution.

When we project, we have a small affect on probabilities. The projection reaches the same place in our perceptive fields as what we perceive and “hits” it but doesn’t make a big enough impression for it to take form — for the sea of bubble solution to set that form as the default rather than just the space that was there before. If the projection is not strong enough, it just bounces the bubble solution (elemental essence) but the bounce fades away in diminishing bounces, like jello would, but in 3D. Rather than taking form, the “impact” of the projection into the bubble solution fades away.

Planning Future Events in the Dream State

The “future” of the species is being worked out in the private and mass dreams of its members. (Roberts 170)URchanneled • modern • Seth

There are levels within dreams, highly pertinent but mainly personal, in that they reflect your own private intents and purposes. There are other levels, further away in your terms, that involve mass behavior on a psychic level, where together the inhabitants of the physical world plan out future events. Here probabilities are recognized and utilized. . . . Private desires here are magnified as they are felt by others, or minimized accordingly, so that in the overall, large general plans are made having to do with the species at any given “time.” (Roberts 322-323)UR2channeled • modern • Seth

In the dream state, we may experience feelings, communications, and events that might not yet be large enough to bring about events in physical reality.

There is an entire global dream network, in other words, that goes quite unrecognized—one of spectacular organization in which exchanges of information occur that give you the basis for the formation of recognized physical events. (Roberts 468)DEVF2channeled • modern • Seth

In periods of dreaming . . . animals, like men, participate in a vast cooperative venture that helps to form the psychological atmosphere in which your lives must first of all exist. (Roberts 273)

That which is in harmony with the universe, with All That Is, has a natural inborn impetus that will dissolve all impediments. It is easier, therefore, for nature to flourish then not. (Roberts 239)DEVF1channeled • modern • Seth

Your dreams are real. . . . Your intent itself has a reality that builds up in energy at other levels of existence, and works for you.

Now, not only are your dreams . . . important . . . there is a mass gestalt in which your individual dreams have an even greater meaning, and in which each of you are doing your part in erecting realities that you do not as yet understand. . . .

You can see also a great correlation and give-and-take as you created your own images, allowed others to borrow them, borrowed some for yourselves. . . . Each of you made original dreams that were, on the other hand, like no other. (Roberts 383-384)

Your dreams also, in their way, nourish worlds. There is no waste. Your dreams and your thoughts have reality. (Roberts 387)CWSchanneled • modern • Seth

The Nature of Matter

Matter as Condensed Thought

As the above sections explain, matter is formed by an accumulation and condensation of thought.

Matter is . . . a development of thought. . . . The Sangsara, or external universe, is a psycho-physical compound of mind; matter, as we see it, being crystallized mental energy, and, consequently, the product of thought. (Dvagpo-Lharje 16)

Matter is but the crystallization of thought; or, otherwise stated, the Universe is merely the materialization of thought-forms. (Dvagpo-Lharje 350)TYSDwisdom • Tibetan • Dvagpo-Lharje

Matter as Materialized Light

Consciousness is light.

When EE units are operating beneath the surface of reality, they are traveling at a velocity greater than light and therefore do not emerge as matter in our three-dimensional universe. When they do become matter . . . they are slowed to the velocity of our light and then take on solid form. (Freidman 129)

Seth’s EE units, then, are in effect light units that intrude into our electromagnetic spectrum by slowing their velocity to that of our light and becoming trapped at that velocity. (Friedman 133)

According to Seth . . . the EE units permeate all of space and operate just below the surface of our three-dimensional universe. Matter is their projection into our world. (Friedman 199)BS&Sresearcher • modern • Friedman

Higher frequencies of consciousness equate with higher frequency domains (faster speeds of light). The waves break into “matter” according to the speed of light at each frequency domain. A thought breaks into matter in the astral or dream world earlier than in the physical because it has to slow down far less. This is why it takes less for an expectation to take form in the astral (dream state) — a single individual can cause it. Only after slowing down much more could it break into matter in the physical world.

See “Thresholds of Matter and the Velocity of Light” in flow.php.

What is physical reality? It is, said Sri Aurobindo, just “a mass of stable light.” (Talbot 265)HUscientific, researcher • modern • Talbot

The holomovement is described as an unending sea of light; matter is condensed or frozen light. (Friedman 86)BS&Sresearcher • modern • Friedman

Matter as Vibrations

The “frequency” in frequency domains is a vibration — a frequency of consciousness.

The Hindus believe that all matter is made of sound. (Judith 262)

Patterns are another kind of limitation, limiting movement and change to a fixed form. When patterns are fixed, they repeat. Through limitation, otherwise random movement becomes vibration—a fixed pattern of repeated movement. . . .

A running engine looks like a vibrating block of metal, emitting a “whirring” sound. We have stepped out from the specific interactions within a structure, and now look at the combined behavior of the structure as a whole, perceiving its overall “vibration.”

The most solid aspects of matter are constantly vibrating at high speeds. In fact, only by constant movement can we perceive the emptiness of matter as a solid field. The movement of atomic particles, bound to a very small space, becomes more like vibration or oscillation, vibrating at the rate of about 1015 Hz. (Hz = cycles per second, cps.) . . .

Mere sound waves, projected into various mediums—such as water, powders, pastes, or oil—produce patterns with remarkable similarity to forms found in nature, such as spiral galaxies, cellular division in an embryo, the iris and the pupil of the human eye. (Judith 269-270)

Particles move so quickly (and our perceptions so slowly) that they create a field which makes them seem solid, just as a quickly moving propeller blade appears as a solid circle. (Judith 88)WoLiresearcher • modern • Judith

All of life is a vibration. That which you call life (you could just as easily call it God) is pure energy. That energy is vibrating constantly, always. It is moving in waves. The waves vibrate at different speeds, producing different degrees of density, or light. This, in turn, produces what you would call different “effects” in the physical world—actually, different physical objects. Yet while the objects are different and discreet, the energy which produces them is exactly the same. (Walsch 178)CWG3channeled • modern • Walsch

Matter as Vortexes of Attracted Energy

These are vortexes of energy arising from flow from the Source. see “Physics: Dissipative Structures” in unity-of-consciousness.php.

Matter is not the minute grains of mass which moves so quickly but is rather the vortex of interconnecting energies of which this mass, its movement, and the energy they create are all a part. (Judith 89)WoLiresearcher • modern • Judith

In relativity theory, the particle described in classical physics is no longer a “thing” but a vortexlike disturbance in a continual field. (Friedman 23)BS&Sresearcher • modern • Friedman
